Taste tests may have been a gambit nationally back in 1975, but today, grocery or department stores say that the cola America really likes better in this new millennium. A place in northeastern Pennsylvania Pepsi flies off the shelves of a local Wal-Mart and even a grocery store. That is difficult to maintain in stock. For that is exactly what I mean.
Do you know who started the famous taste tests? So no one else Pepsi ran it’s marketing campaign and boy did this work for Pepsi’s profits. It really worked for them, as most Americans choose Pepsi in these blind taste tests. Pepsi took those results and generated them with the public.
Back when I was growing up, we used to drink coke because my parents were supportive and you know how parents can be. I followed suit until the late 90’s, but the rebel in me decided to try Pepsi and once I did I was hooked. I am a proclaimed Pepsi-holic.
So what are the differences between the two? We all know they are cool, refreshing, and have lots of added sugar and caramel coloring. There is a price difference with Coke being slightly cheaper, but for some it doesn’t matter.
Pepsi has more sugar but personally I think Coke is sweeter!
History
Coca-Cola was introduced as a patent medicine in 1886 and it has helped you ever since. He claimed to cure morphine addiction, headaches and impotence and more. The company itself makes a strainer that is sold as well as bottles that add water and a bottle. The bottlers go ahead and put it in stores so we can buy it. Bottles first came out in 1894 and the first cans were sold in 1955.
Pepsi was introduced in the 1890’s but wasn’t commercialized until 1903 and even had medicinal claims to cure stomach upset. Pepsi is also boiled first, then water is added when the dough is made.
Yes Coke is older but both are over 100 years old and are popular today. as they were then. I don’t see that changing anytime soon because so many people around the world have grown up with one or the other.

Pepsi Diet, Pepsi, Pepsi max, Pepsi One, Caffeine Free Pepsi and Caffeine Free Pepsi, Wild Cherry Pepsi, Diet wild cherry pepsi, Pepsi Lime, Diet Pepsi Lime, Pepsi Jazz in two flavors (Strawberries and Cream and Black Cherry Vanilla), Pepsi Twist (lemon flavored in both regular and diet varieties), sold in Australia Pepsi samba, is a mix. mango or tamarind which is like America’s version of Pepsi summer mix, they sell here what some say tastes like Skittles. Crystal Pepsi and Blue Pepsi ran fast and fatal and didn’t last long at all. Pepsi X has more caffeine then regular Pepsi and energy drinks has more, but it’s not sold in the US. Who can forget any spices? Of course I can, I don’t like it.
Medicine
I have the ability to cure headaches, as anyone who gets migraines knows that caffeine can help you get rid of it, so I guess the medicine has a purpose. As much as Pepsi claims with the relief of discomfort, how many of us pregnant women have not tried plain Pepsi Tricks with morning sickness? I used each of the three trimesters of pregnancy to relieve morning sickness. That’s certainly old wives tales by no stretch of the imagination.
Put it on the trigger.
Who ever floats or floats? They are very similar to root beer float, except you use a strainer instead of root beer. . What a great summer time treat! If you’ve never had one, you have no idea what you’re missing.
I bake whole cakes and use strainer as I sprinkle. Water is so flat but filter zip food product adds to the kitchen and create interest for anyone, so that the next time the water is omitted add cooking and straining in equal parts. The last page below gives some recipes in which to use cola products.
