I think it’s unfortunate that anyone uses the word con or lie to describe what Pepsi and Coke have done with their bottled water brands, Aquafina and Dasani. At what point should people be responsible for their own decisions?
Coke and Pepsi didn’t fool people into thinking those waters were pure spring water, he said, meaning nothing at all on the bottle. Indeed, I was surprised how many pf peple who said they were “tired” or “conned”. Why don’t they do their research on the product or notice that the bottles of spring water have their name on the source. It should have been more pointed that there was no source mentioned in the Aquafina or Dasani bottles. There are also other problems with these waters.
Why would anyone spend over $1.50 on a bottle for water that didn’t even taste good anymore. I. If he had ever tasted even the characteristics of these waters, he would have tasted water that did not even taste clean or refreshing.
The only misleading thing is that they show pictures of mountains and use blue paint on their bottles. I can see why people have reported pictures and colors with fountain water, but that’s no excuse not to read the bottle.
On the bottle they said it was filtered water, nowhere on the label did it ever say spring water. It has been known for many years that water is just a sound and did not know who did not want to know, because it is common.
The situation is such that no one is surprised. If something doesn’t say exactly what you think it should on the label, then you’re probably not getting spring water. These companies are not stupid and would have said they were pure water if that was what it was.
Again, if you want some Aquafina, just take a glass and take water from the shot, usually. that is healthier for you than Aquafina was.
