About a year ago, I didn’t do Vinylmation. About eight months ago I began to understand. Since then I may have accumulated at least 18 more figures. Closely. So, I’m officially obsessed, so now I feel it’s semi-appropriate to teach you about these figures and you Vinylmation: The Learner’s Guide.

But what shape will you get? . can’t you say
No, most series come in blind boxes, meaning you don’t know what shape you have until you buy it. You know what the series is, but you don’t know the exact shape. What then is a hunter? And what should be changed?
This is best understood if you know how vinyls are packaged. Each series comes in a case of 24 figures. There are two different figures in each series, therefore there are two in each. EXCEPT there are three of one figure and only one of the other. (There are therefore two figures of ten, three of one, and one of one. 20+3+1=24) The figure, which is only one, is the same in both cases, so by 2 approximately. :1. That figure is catchy, and you can often find eBay chasers doing more than that. As variants, some shapes come with more than one letter. For example I have Pinocchio variants. The official figure has donkey ears and a tail, but one figure in all of them has a few blue ears and no tail. This is what I have, and it is a rarer regular shape. Disney never lets it down as much as it rarely does. The variation in the cup sometimes calls over the cup. One of the most wanted super chasers I heard was one of Obi Wan’s Ghost in the Star Wars series. It was going for several hundred dollars on eBay at one point. If you have a cup or a variant from a blind box, you are very lucky.
