Community College Can Be a Good Choice

When I was in high school, counselors often recommended that a student choose a community college as their first college choice after high school for a number of reasons. Those two reasons made getting all the core courses so much less expensive for a four-year education and community colleges had to be a lot more flexible to the student who didn’t yet know what their major was.

Another reason is that the community college should be established four years before the a href=”https://e-info.vn/tag/community-info.vn/tag/community-colleges institution so that the community college tends to be tougher .high school but not as difficult as the four-year school, which benefits them the most
a student who training”> may need some remedial work to get some of his core courses to university standards. There is a good transition between high school and university .

I graduated from Rio Hondo College in 1984 with an AA in Fine Arts. The school is located in Whittier, California. I attended two years because I had already accumulated a few credits from several other community colleges and a four-year private college. One of those community colleges was Foothill College in Los Altos Hills, California. I attended school in the mid 1970’s. I did not graduated from school.

Foothill was where we encountered what happened in Bible studystudy, which morphed into a large group of friends who He did everything at the same time. We come from different churches and different backgrounds. We all formed parties, group associations and just did a lot together outside of school and beyond our years at school.

I had friends at Rio Hondo that I did things with, but the school was different and the group wasn’t supportive in the same way that Foothill did. We did things together, even outside and beyond our years in Rio Hondo, but as individual friends and not individuals.

I also attended four institutions years and flexibility and freedom with groups and social life outside the school, inside the schools. and off campus at a community college than four years ago school. The atmosphere tends to be a little less formal in a community college.

Rio Hondo had a lot of wonderful academic resources. The police are very proactive. I was given a whole battery of tests to find out what my personality, strengths, weaknesses and preferences were so I could know which direction to go. Also, my counselor was very helpful in dealing with unfair teachers and difficult classes. I came to her all. She really helped me to get to graduation without mishap.

When I was working on math, I was given a wonderful tutor who walked me through my class. I passed with a decent grade.

The school also required that every student take an introductory class on how to deal with college life. Even though I was already in several schools, this class was helpful. He explained a lot of things that he expected us to already know in other colleges.

When I was in Fine Art major, Art history was one of my requirements. The teacher was a very caring, enthusiastic and creative person. She had regular tutoring sessions in which I became one of the tutors after my first semester with her.

The tutoring sessions helped everyone who participated to raise at least one whole level. They also helped me learn more about being a successful teacher. The recreational sessions were also beneficial. We became several friends during those sessions and we did things together, outside of class.

Some of the other academic teachers also suggested the study of help or protection for those students who struggling or just wanted to do better in class.

Some of our students have also studied in some of our classes. In the other classes we studied alone, but we argued with each other. Some teachers were also willing to help us outside of regular hours. Some of us also encouraged us to help each other.

Even though Foothill was a more social school than Rio Hondo, Rio Hondo was much more proactive in making sure that the student successfully completed what he started by providing all kinds of support and encouragement.

Some of our teachers also gave study sessions in class before the test. They reviewed the material in order to compile tests and assignments. Some told us exactly what was going to happen in the tests. They wanted us to succeed and they worked diligently to make it happen.

Most of the teachers at Rio Hondo are the best men I have ever had. The teachers were excellent teachers of US Government, Art History, Sociology, English, Photography, Ecology and Physical Geography.

These teachers were also quick to reward us for our hard work. I was nominated for two awards and received one that was not in my major. But what I didn’t get was amazing. My Photography teacher who wanted me to be nominated had already used the nomination for another student, so he got my Art History teacher.

The teachers made fun of their subjects and understood them easily. Especially the US government class, it helped me to not only understand a lot about how our government works, but also to be able to explain it to others. these classes had an excellent curriculum, either because the instructors chose their materials well or they assembled them well
his learning from his own sources. They also knew their subjects well, and loved what they were doing; This helped him to endure in his coming.

Also, as I said above, I attended four institutions. Although some of the classes and conditions in some departments were very good, overall the environment was much more formal and less friendly.
than the conditions of either Foot Hill or Rio Hondo. Four years of school is more about getting a business education and getting out and working. With community colleges college more learning atmosphere a quiet and friendly environment for working or preparing. work

Today, the community college offers several programs and certificates where the student does not need to go to a four-year institution to get an education that will
