I bought this laptop about 4 years ago so you’d think it would have worn out by now, but it’s really not that bad. Some of its standards are still higher than what you’ll find in today’s average laptop.
I found the Compaq Presario 2500 to be a great computer. I use it every day and it is as good as new today. It’s quick and easy to use. It is also very easy to install new software.
Playing games I like that with 512Mb RAM it will be enough for normal use. you need to do anything on your laptop. There is more speed than Pentium 4 Processor at 2.30 GHz, this is very fast and powerful. A lot of laptops you buy today don’t even have 2GHz, so you’ll still be at the top of the line in terms of power.
It comes with 40Gb of hard disk space and a 15″ screen. It has a digital panel flat panel with display. XGA technology as a screen in open at almost any angle.
Firewire, USB, Infrared, these are the available ways to connect with other devices. There are 3 USB ports, internal infra-red. There is also a firewire port for connecting to cameras. Although there is no bluetooth, there is a port where blue cards can be purchased and installed.
There is no floppy drive available in this laptop. However, you don’t really need a DVD/CD-RW drive. Instead of saving your stuff on floppies, you can save directly to cds.
The shape and design of the laptop is very cool, but it is a bit too thick. This is probably because it is SHOCK TESTED. I know people who dropped their Compaq laptops and never had a problem. I dropped mine and 2 weeks later, I had to replace my hard drive. I don’t know if my HD crashed due to omission or just by accident. I was told that having to replace the HD is very rare on a Compaq.
Ok, there are a few negative points, but all in all it’s a good code.
The fan in the notebook is a bit larger than most laptops. As it heats up, as it does because of all the power of the process, the fan goes up to higher and higher levels of the year, which are progressively larger.
All that power must lead to something, weight. A laptop needs a bigger processor to make it so powerful, which is why a laptop is so heavy. (3.5 kg)
In order to provide such a force, the battle was used in advance. A new battle lasts about 2 hours. Most laptop batteries last 8 hours. So if you’re going to travel alot, then get pregnant.
So if you’re thinking about getting a good laptop good value for money, then get the Presario MMD.
