One must consider the balance of work and play when looking to choose a career. The potential of reading a career can only be in income needed to play less time. Better choose to enjoy the weekend. When one enjoys the career, there will be a greater tendency to improve. He who is better at running, is more likely to have greater returns. Making more money allows one to spend more time and money on fun things. Computer programmers have a good balance between work and play.

This allows programmers to have more time after work to spend playing with their family and friends.

In the workforce, there is a high level of respect for computer programmer knowledge. The benefit of respect is enjoyed more at work. Programmers work in teams, and their ideas are also heard. The longer a programmer works, the more he learns about different ways of doing things.

The ratio of work and play for computer programmers is much better than database administrators. When choosing a technical career, comparing database administrator to computer programmer helps to better understand the balance of work and play in computer programming. Most database administrators are on call 24 hours a day and tend to work more than 40 hours a week. As computer programmers they tend to work eight hours a day and forty hours a week. For this reason I chose not to be a database administrator.

When comparing computer administrators to network programmers, the balance of work and play is also in favor of computer programmers. Network administrators are on call 24 hours a day. When there are network issues, the network administrator is called no matter where they are or what they are doing. Computer programmers are not on call 24 hours a day. Now we also have movies and TV that we can watch thanks to computer programmers creating websites like Hulu and Netflix. Even in the movies we see, many of the things we see are created by software.

Sometimes the balance of work and play also occurs in the workplace. Most programmers love to write on computers, but they also love to play computer games. With playing games such as Fata they can make their own modules for the game. Making modules for the game creates its own version of the game. Some games like Winter Nights were never built to make modules. Modules can be shared with friends and played together. A sense of pride is induced when the programmers can work and play the game. Creating game modules isn’t the only thing computer programmers love to do. For users, they love to play games like Everquest and World Time. It is a store where one can associate a certain code with a button pressed so that it performs a series of actions in the game. Like in a battle, you might want to tell someone you’re going to heal them if two different people play as a healer. Overall, computer programmers have a good balance of work and play. Most computer programmers enjoy their work in technology, which often involves playing with technological gadgets.
