There is a big difference between consensual slavery and real slavery. Now, of course, most people will pick up on the keyword consensual, but for some reason, not enough. There are many other differences besides that one word, which seems to not pick up those who are not involved in BDSM services into the scene.
First, a quick lesson on true slavery. Slavery, unlike what most people in America think, is older than triangular slavery after the “discovery” of America. Most societies were built on the backs of war, raids, or serving as law-enforcement agreements. In battles, slaves would sometimes be used as “cannon fodder” for the warriors of the ancient world. Taking arrows and spears from the enemy.
Of course, they were not slaves to whom the whole thing was desired. The surveyors were not only trying to make men and women alive, but also slaves of various kinds. The gladiators of Rome are usually slaves, nobles are free in the arena of death.

They are rare, however, and are despised by those who have some ideals in the community. The key, as always, is consensus.
These are just two different ways of serving. Now, what about the similarities?
Similarities really depend on the degree of relationship. As has been said, there are no boundaries for slaves. they say they want to use the “master” in any way they want. Sometimes, this can be domestic. Sometimes, this can include being handed over to the owner’s friends for a playroom. These are all very close to the true servants of the world, except for the most severe punishments.
One of the symbols of slavery that is known throughout the world is necklaces. Many true slaves were brought for other reasons. It is generally the case that others know the name of the owner, and also remind the legate that the slave is now free. Many people use consensual slavery for this same reason. Also, there are many who say that a slave just looks better with a metal band around his neck.
Many consensual slaves were also physically punished. This may be from the whip, or from the hand, or from the person to whom it belongs. Some even go so far as to be marked. This was used by genuine slaves as a sign of identification. Some in the consensual world use it as such.
Many others and the same differ. This, as usual, is just an example of their differences.
