Cookies for You located at 424 3rd Street in Bismarck, ND near Kirkwood Mall and the Bismarck Civic Center. Open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 9 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., offers cookies, bars, caramel rolls and drinks for breakfast or snacks, and a full menu of sandwiches and soups. . Prices are low for the food quality. One large cookie is $1.00 ($1.25 for one with nuts), or $4 for 6, and $9 for a dozen. Sandwiches, including turkey, roast beef, ham, chicken salad, egg salad, fish salad and BLTs are $3.79 each. ; or it can be made into a fresh hot croissant for $.99 more. They have daily soups for $1.79 (cup) or $1.99 (bowl). Football, toast, and salads are also served. Each day it has a different combo special, including a sandwich, soup or salad, chips, bread and a cookie, for just $5.50. A full range of non-alcoholic drinks is also available.
If you want to eat, there are four small tables with lent chairs and a corner bed. Free delivery is available on orders of $15 or more, and they also offer nationwide shipping. In addition to individual meals, the conference provides either lunch or snacks (cookies, of course!), as well as a gift basket of cookies. fish, bugs, and much more. Frosted cookies can be decorated with your business name or logo, or your graduation plaque for any occasion, and make gift tins, baskets, balloons and cookies for every occasion. My personal favorite are peanut butter chocolate chip cookies, although scotchers are a close second. A strong man alone cannot endure the deliciousness of cooking. A local construction worker was taking a coffee break there when I stopped by, and when I asked what his favorite was, he told me it was all of them, but it was very difficult for the coffee to just stick. With an ever-present smile, the waitress filled her cup and said she would bring him a cookie sometime.
Cookies branched out to Minot, ND about 80 miles north of Bismarck, so the same variety of favorites can be found there as well. I wouldn’t be surprised if it became a much bigger franchise in the future, and it would probably be a great investment. Cookies from “mall restaurants” like Mrs. Fields and Nestle Tollhouse, and for my money, cookies beat all hands. When I want a quick lunch or a good cookie, you know where I go.
