If you were to buy Sam’s Club at Costco, which club would come out on top for you? Both have a lot of benefits and a wide variety of products to choose from. Having had many chances at both, I am trying to decide which is better.
First lets take a look at Costco. Members have four categories that you can choose from. The first is the gold star membership. This membership will cost you around $50.00 for a new member. Following are the benefits of being associated with a gold star; You can buy the product at any Costco location, get two cards per household at no extra charge, and your membership is good for one year. Next is the gold star executive membership, which will cost $100.00 to sign up. As an executive member you get everything you get from a gold star membership with a few extras like 2% cash back on most Costco purchases, and lower prices on printing, auto-pilot, free overnight, and larger Costco cashback cards for mortgages; and home equity loans are carried out. You also get a year of free roadside assistance if your car is covered by the insurance program.
Next is the Business Membership which will cost you $50 to sign up. The benefits of a business membership is that you can purchase products for your business, and use them for resale, additional paper, and access to any Costco location. Membership is valid for one year.
Business executive membership allows you the same benefits as business associates with a few additional benefits such as 2% rewards on most purchases, and the same benefits as the gold card provides The price of this card is $100.00. To apply for any of the cards listed above, you can visit your local Costco or apply online at www.Costco.com.
So now that you know everything about membership, you’re probably wondering what products they have to offer. They have a large variety of food and cleaning products. Table linen and other necessary items. Most Costco stores open around 10:00 am and around 9:00 pm Monday through Friday, but check with your store for exact hours. I have to say that Costco’s prices are very reasonable. They also offer optical care at a reasonable price. You can get a full test for just $85, but the price varies by location. You can also cancel your order once you are done with food shopping. Their prescription plan is a bit more expensive than most, but it’s definitely worth the convenience.
So what about Sam’s Club? Sam’s Club has four different levels of membership to choose from, and some of their memberships are considerably cheaper than Costco. They have a convenient membership that only costs you $40. With membership benefits you will have access to any Sam’s Club, two annual cards, shop online at shop u>www.samsclub.com, get up to 1% cash back when they find Sam’s club card. You will also have access to the financial services and personal services offered at all Sam’s Club locations. With a Ship Plus member benefit you get everything that a Prime Ship member gets plus up to 2% cash back with the Sam’s Club find card, complimentary health and medical discounts, and savings on business and financial services.
When Business member ships three annual cards to family you get home, access to any club around Sam village, Gold Key shopping hours (which start at 7:00am for business only. You also get a personal shop where you can order by fax or online and have your order ready for pickup. Business member shipping cost is $35. Business plus member is $100 and you get the same benefits and basic business with a few additional savings such as truckload savings.
Both warehouse clubs have a lot to offer as far as shopping is concerned. I think Sam’s club click nail and pull service is much nicer than the ball and pull service offered at Costco. Sam’s club allows you to do all your shopping including food shopping online and have it ready on arrival if you have the right membership. Costco only allows you to buy products online and not all grocery products you want to purchase. Costco offers bulk food items for sale that can be delivered directly to your home.
The bottom line is that both have a lot to offer but the variety of products is very different. Which one you visit more often really depends on the number of products they have available, the type of product you use, the price and the location. Either way, you’ll be saving a lot of money by buying your stuff in either one. Wolf places.
