Cover Girl’s Ultimate Finish Liquid Powder – the Ultimate Breakthrough in Cosmetics

In the past ten years, the cosmetics industry has finally “got it”: Women who use their products are engaged, either by choice or by necessity. If you design a time saver, a double use product will come for them!

Cover Girl’s “Liquid Powder Powder Ultimate” is exactly as the title says. In one relatively small, compact and manageable container, it can be used as a foundation both first applied to the face, and also as a finishing powder for your makeup cap. Cover Girl touts it as ‘dermatologically tested’ (we sure hope) and ‘fragrance and oil free’. “Lashes, even liquid coverage and camouflage concealer with a fine dusting of powder – all in one easy step!” (The exclamation point is at the end of this sentence.)

I actually started using this product about eight months ago, by accident, actually. I was looking for the basics that came in a small package, one that I could keep in my handy case easily carry. . I didn’t want to load it with the bottles of liquid foundation that I kept at home and used. Because of the creamy consistency of the product, I thought it was a bargain. What I didn’t realize is that it not only serves as a great foundation, but also makes a nifty finished powder.

In the “old days” (i.e. ten years ago), a woman who used makeup as part of her daily routine needed both a liquid foundation and a compact that held save a ton of money (from not having two separate products), it also saves time and space. Of course, at first I was hesitant about trying it. If it can also be used “finished dust”, how can the foundation itself be good? I was surprised at what I found.

The foundation was quite – quite sheer, with even coverage and a very light touch is needed to apply it, which often, I don’t even need to use a punch again as a finishing powder. Just apply one coat and go! On this occasion it is quite remarkable for those of us who really don’t like everything they do most. As an adult, I have found over the years that too much and certainly too heavy a hand in applying makeup gives the impression of a circus clown in the room — or perhaps someone who applied her makeup in a dark closet. Having a light, barely there foundation with just enough coverage to make me look human and my biggest skin flaw is great! Are you ready? Use those gentle, soft, flat sponges to literally wipe off a light layer of foundation, maybe add a touch of lip gloss and one application of mascara, and you’re likely to be more than presentable.

There are two important things about Ultimate Fine that I want to make sure to mention. Because it’s manufactured by Cover Girls, it’s relatively inexpensive – on the order of $10, more or less. If you have coupons for Cover Girl products, that brings it down in price even more. It is also sold in several places: medicine, butchers, any retail establishment that carries a cover. Girl, Maybelline, L’Oreal would use the ‘lower end’ brand. As far as I’m concerned, it does just as well – if not actually better – than the more expensive name ‘brand’ /a> foundations I bought 25 $ and so on. Since it is sold in so many types of retailers, you don’t need to run to the top department store To buy Another big factor? The cover girl does not spend a lot of money on packaging (hence the real pricing structure). This product is packaged in a paper sleeve with an open base for easy viewing. It comes in at least five different colors skin tone, and you can match it to your skin tone. holding the pack against the wrist or facing straight into the store. (In particular, many drug stores have a great policy that if you buy a drug from them, it’s not just the right color or what it’s supposed to be, they’ll refund your money if you get the first sales back.

Check to see if thrift store shopping offers this type of service.) There is another plus. that many drugstores and supermarkets offer pretty deep discounts on makeup, often “buy one, get one half off”, “all Cover Girl products 50% off”, etc. grocery where I shop recently I recently reduced all of their ‘low end’ commercial cosmetic lines by 50%; The sale lasted for 10 days, and almost everything was cleared by the end of the sale – especially if you also had a product coupon! And so in the sale I made my share of the loss. Check your newspaper for a summary of the coupons section, as well as flyers for Walgreens, Eckerd, Acme, ShopRite, CVS Pharmacy and any other local/regional grocery and drug stores. It’s amazing how many different colors are sold for a week. Again, add in a manufacturer’s coupon (and your ‘preferred shopper’ card, such as a CVS Red Plastic Bucks card or your grocery store’s preferred shopper), and you’ll find even more savings.

One thing to note is that this product is not completely fragrance free, mainly due to its ingredients and composition. If you need paints that are completely free of odors, head to the Claritin section of your local store. Last Close has a barely noticeable but still present scent that to me is a tad like perfume or a tad of baby powder a>. I am very allergic myself to most fragrances, unfortunately, but I have absolutely no allergic or other reactions to the Cover Girl line of makeup.

Apart from the price and accessibility, what else do I recommend about “Ultimate End”? Use leisure. For many women, for various reasons, they prefer to wear some type of foundation when outside. Whether socially or in the office, they feel more “decorated” on a certain basis; let their skin feel bare without it. “Ultimate Finish” comes in its own 3″ x 2 1/2″ case with its own white sponge, making for easy and quick foundation application. The sponge is properly stored in the same case. If it is time to first apply a different type of liquid foundation and then finish it with a powder, the light, easy and silky feel of the “final conclusion” when used as a finishing powder is wonderful.

In summary, “The Last Thing” can be used in two ways. Your foundation can be your foundation, applied in the matter of seconds. It can also be used as a finishing powder to ‘cap off’ your makeup with a nice, light and sheer layer of powder. I would highly recommend this product as I use it every day. This is a perfect, dual-use cosmetic – arch, long-lasting, and exactly what it has its promises: “light, even coverage… with a fine dusting of powder – all in one easy step!

How great is that soft foundation that also doubles as a finishing powder on top of another type of foundation OR on top of itself! Thanks, Cover Girl!
