“My father was my hero – he was always there for me when I needed him. He listened to me and taught me a lot, but most of all he was fun.

I know Father had a great job. He was working to change the world so that all people would love animals like him. He built a hospital to help animals and bought lots of land to give safe animals a place to live.

And he took me and my brother and my mum with him all the time. We caught films together, caught crocodiles together, and made love together in the bush.

I don’t want Daddy’s passion to ever end. I want to help endangered wildlife like he did.

I have the best father in the whole world and I miss him every day. When I see a crocodile, I always think of him and know that the Father made this beast so that everyone could come and learn to love all animals. Dad has done this job all his life and now it’s his turn to help Dad.
