With the release of the multiplayer demo for Crysis 2 on the Xbox Live Marketplace, the Crysis series comes to console gaming for the first time. Console games expect the traditional powers and abilities of a first-person shooter in some scenarios. Crysis 2 Multiplayer Demo Tip – Armor
The biggest adjustment for gamers playing Crysis 2 is that it not only controls weapons but also nanosuits. It is a self-regenerating energy source. All hunters wear a suit giving them the ability to perform power jumps, dashes, cloaks and weapon enhancements. There are also advanced vision modes for tagging enemies, hunting for slain enemies. Both of these resources are used to exhaust energy bar. You can use all of these for a short period of time, or you can use just one for a long period of time. Learning to balance your energy use with saving some resources is the key to playing Crysis 2 successfully. Try to use at least 20% of the filled energy to protect the extra armor when the enemy gets a drop on you.
Crysis 2 Multiplayer Demo Tip – Weapons
There are four main types of weapons in Crysis 2. These are assault rifles, light machine guns, shotguns and snipers. These pretty much follow the standard capabilities of most military shooters. However, all weapons are more accurate than their counterparts in other games. Light machine guns and shotguns are much more effective in the midfield than in the games Call of Duty or Battlefield. In addition, there are also guns and cannons available to all players. To access the box, tap the Y button twice. Each type uses a different grenade type so keep in mind that your current grenade type may not be the normal frag grenade that you expect.

Both weapons and armor have many upgrades available. You can add individual views and rocks. Weapons can be enhanced with capabilities that hide noise from your tracks, an audible proximity sensor or a notification that will alert you that you are near enemy weapons. Since the demo has a level cap, you may not be able to access all the features listed. Be sure to read them all when you start buying upgrades and choose the one you want the most first.
