Keep your spine, neck, and head absolutely straight and erect, pointing straight ahead at the level of your eyes. Keep breathing Northman. Breathe out slowly through both nostrils, drawing the stomach in at the same time, thus contracting the abdominal muscles to expel the air from the lungs. He exhales until all the air is expelled. Exhaling fully, hold the breath for a second, and slowly begin to breathe through both nostrils. Stretch your abdominal muscles as far as you can and pull as deep as you can. The expansion of the ventricle must be very gradual and numerous, and not sudden and rapid. Inhaling deeply, hold again, and start exhaling again. Continue numerous breathing for 10 to 15 times. One exhalation and one inhalation makes one complete cycle. In the first few days try to do this exercise about 10 times a day and then gradually increase it to about 15 times or so. It is suggested to always do pranayama with a completely empty stomach and bladder. The best time to do this pranayama is either in the morning or in the evening.
