If your child is not a morning person, you can do it in the evening and afternoon. Cyber school days are from 12:00 to 11:59 pm. If you can take a day off, you can schedule it ahead of time. You will also do most of the work on Saturdays and Sundays, if you like.
You have so many more choices with cyber school. There are other benefits as well. Cyber schools save from peer pressure. It saves them from humiliation and bullying. At least until they are older, they can handle it better. you can save a ton of money on clothing every year. Not because they go running around naked, but because they don’t wear clothes and tear up what they do during the school day. Plus you certainly don’t need 5 pairs of $70.00 and $100.00 shoes to use around the house.
Of course, there are disadvantages too. There are no extra curricular activities or sports. And it is up to you to make sure that your child becomes a social automaton at school. You will also have to prove your child to any status that they would normally have in regular school. They are usually held in one or two locations around your county, and will be held on these dates, so you will be notified a month in advance.
Some are concerned about the quality of education your child will receive from a cyber school. Most schools will give you an inside look at their curriculum before you sign up. You can search online for cyber learning rooms and forums. Get feedback and see which schools use them. Ask about shared message boards. They are usually very helpful people and are happy to answer some questions and point you in the right direction. You have plenty of options when it comes to choosing a cyber game.
