Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups Blizzard Cake is the perfect ice cream cake for a peanut butter and chocolate lover!
I grew up in the Friendship Ice Cream store’s Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Sundae. But since friendship is not very close where I live, we visited Dairy Queen for my diet.
My son wanted to try DQ Reese Peanut Butter Cups Blizzard Rutrum. No one’s birthday or anniversary was a common day. It’s funny, my kids write, “Happy New Year” on top of a DQ ice cream cake.

Queen Reese’s Dairy Peanut Butter Blizzard cake has white frosting with chocolate sprinkles on top. and the side of the mass. The inside is filled with soft serve type ice cream.
Here’s what I learned in my review of DQ Reese’s Peanut Butter Cupcake Blizzard Cakes:
No. 1: Some allergens include milk, peanuts, soy and wheat. The package says the frosting contains egg, almond, pecan, cashew, brazil nut or coconut.
No. 2: Reese’s Dairy Queen Peanut Butter Whiskey Blizzard cake topped with chunks of Reese’s peanut butter. There is also some peanut butter cups inside the slices, along with a chocolate center. It is incredibly rich, delicious and sweet!
No. 3 Make sure to store your DQ ice cream cake in the freezer, but leave it an extra 15 to 20 minutes before serving for best results.
No. 4: Dairy Queen birthday cake comes in 8-ounce rounds to serve 8 to 10 people; 10-ounce rounds to serve 12 to 16 and sheet cakes that serve 20 to 24 people.
No. 5: Cake designs vary depending on the DQ restaurant location, so check with your local store. DQ at my house will not write any message on the cake, which makes it ideal for birthday, retirement, anniversaries and graduation parties.
If you’re trying to find the best ice cream cookie for a birthday, try Reese’s Peanut Butter Cupcakes Blizzard or one of the others blizzard cakes Orco have cakes to try for my youngest son because he is an Oreo Blizzard fanatic. The Extreme Chocolate Blizzard Rutrum and Orco Brownie Earthquake ice cream cakes also look yummy.
While I don’t recommend eating DQ Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups Blizzard Cake on a regular basis, it is an excellent choice for a birthday cake ice cream, especially if you have a peanut butter lover in the family. While birthday cake is easy to bake, icing the cake can be a mess. To save time and efforts, DQ are great ice cream cakes!
