Decorating a Bedroom for Your Cowgirl

Do you have a little girl who just loves a cowgirl bedroom? Using blue jeans fabric, a piece of lace, pink and brown paint and glitzy crystals, you can create the bedroom of their dreams. Many things can be used to get a really rustic feel or you can make a lot of your own using things you already have. This simple but luxurious bedroom will make any girl happy.

Start by masking the high walls like a chair rail. Paint the bottom portion of the wall, a dark chocolaty color and the upper portion a girly pink. Place a 4 inch star stencil, 4 inches above the brown paint and gray using the brown paint. Repeat this stenciled star around the chair around the closet. Space stars 4 inches apart.

While the stenciled stars are drying, I hammer the bottle-caps flat. Drill a hole in the middle of the bottle cap. Stamp the bottle caps onto the center of each stenciled star using upholstery fabric. Using brad nails, line the rope on the chair’s utility pole, separating the brown paint from the pink paint.
