Discover Funland – Affordable Fun in Rehoboth Beach Delaware

On your next trip to the Delaware beaches, be sure to stop in Rehoboth and visit Funland; a family amusement park right on the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk.

Housing over 18 rides and a good few games, Funland has been up and running for 50 years. family friendly amusement park is both affordable and fun.

The best part about Funland is the prices. You won’t break the bank!

Tickets for the rides are only $.30, and rides require anywhere from 1 to 5 tickets. Many kids ride only 1 or 2 tickets, while older rides 3-5.

Try bumper cars and test your driving skills while your friends and family watch from the board. Afterwards you can jump into the paratrooper; the yoke of the iron wheel, which goes twice as fast!

Feeling adventurous? There is a graviton, which is the space that you climb inside and stand around the perimeter. Space begins to drag, the floor drops and gravity holds it against the wall. No one in this one sitting!

Right next to the spaceship is a newer ride called The SuperFlip. I do not recommend this to anyone with a weak stomach! Buckle up as this ride lifts you up into the air and flips you forward, backward and more.

There is also a boat to ride in the shape of a dragon, which swings like a pendulum. How much you can see when it reaches the top! (You can even hear people screaming on this ride from the blocks!)

Haunted Mansion don’t forget to check it out. Struts in a cart run down the track and through the house gannons, goblins and ghosts are caught. The carriage can hold two adults or three children. This is truly the best ride in all of Funland.

Every summer there is a new scare in haunted houses. Something is always changing! In 2011, they also added a camera that takes pictures of horses going through the house. At the end of the day you can buy a photo!

Looking for something a little less intense? There are many other options, such as Jungle Obstacle Courses, Helicopter rides and even a free slide.

If you have little ones, there is a famous carousel the whole family can enjoy. There are also smaller rides, like guns, boats and car rides.

When you’re ready for a fun ride, head to our many selection of games. Some even give you tickets you can redeem for prizes.

Try your luck at whack-a-mole. Grab a soft sledgehammer and compete against others to see how many moles you can knock off the machine in a set time. It sounds easy, but it’s hard!

You can also try frog stick where you try to rub frogs into lily pads, or throw a bowl and see if you can get your ball into one of the colored cups full animal‘s reward.

There is also a very popular horse race game, as well as a bunch of other arcade games including ski-ball; a kind of waterfall, and also basketballs thrown in circles.

The farm is a great place for the whole family to enjoy. It is open from Memorial to Labor Day. It tends to get the most crowded on hot summer evenings, especially in July.

One thing is certain; Everyone always has a smile on their face. (Even the workers!) Families love Finland. It’s part of what makes Rehoboth Beach special.
