A light camping trailer that is homemade can be designed to be towed by small compact cars. With a little guidance and some Coroplast plastic or files like those used to make signs, a small trailer camp can be easily built. By using an aluminum utility trailer that is light to start with, a small camping trailer can be designed to provide a comfortable area for 2 people to sleep in while camping.
There are a few things you need for this project. To start you need 5 feet by 8 feet wood flooring aluminum utility six, four 4 feet long a 3 inch thick PVC pipe, two 8 feet long by 3 inch diameter PVC pipe, two 5 foot long, 3 inch PVC pipe. The next set of materials you will need are four 3 point PVC pipe corner connectors, some synthetic resin glue, a 5 feet wide by 8 feet long ½ inch thick piece of Coroplast, two 4 feet wide by 8 feet long ½ inch thick pieces of Coroplast . two feet wide 5 feet long ½ inch thick Coroplast pieces, wide 5 feet long 6 feet foam mattress. For camper door hardware you will need two door hinges, two door hinges with a lock receiver that goes through the hole, and a master lock with keys. The tools needed to set up the camp are six drills, 2 inch long self-driving screws, I need a drill bit, a 3 inch circular section foam mattress will be put in place so that people can sleep comfortably in the camp.
To place the mattress in the camper and start the door using a tape measure and a pen to mark and measure a 4 foot long horizontal line 6 inches below the top of the camper on one of the six sides at a point directly behind the wheel.
Next, use a tape measure and a pen to mark and measure a 4-foot horizontal length 6 inches above the bottom of the camping trailer directly behind the trailer wheel well on the same side of the trail where you made the line in the first step. Be sure that this line is parallel to the straight line drawn in the first step.
Now join the parallel lines made in the previous steps, which are 4 feet apart. This makes a rectangle drawn that measures 4 feet wide by 3 feet high on a side of six camps. The trailer makes the door.
Then you need to drill an inch hole to one corner of the extraction rectangle that is on the side of the trailer. Use your fingers to drill a bit to complete this step.
After the step above you need to place the jigsaw blade into the hole cut in the step above. Now cut along the raised rectangular lines 4 feet wide by 3 feet high rectangles from the sides.
Now, add the weather stripping along each side of the 4 foot wide by 3 foot deep hole in the side of the trailer. This must be done to create a separate door.
Then you need to attach the hinged door to the right side of the 4 foot by 3 foot hole. Now make sure the doors are hinged to the door you’ve been holding. Do this step by attaching the door hinges to one side of the door 3 feet long. This needs to fit snugly when the door is closed.
You will need to fix the door to the inside of the door. Now they put the lock receiver to the inner trailer wall. Make sure the receiving lock is correct for the door latch. This is necessary to close the door when it is closed. To close the door from the inside, put the master through the lock receiver after sliding the hole over the lock receiver.
The next thing to do is to attach the doors to the outside. Now they put the lock receiver on the outside of the trailer wall. Make sure the receiving lock is correct for the door latch. This is necessary to close the door when it is closed and no one is in the trailer. To close the door from the outside, put the master lock through the lock receiver, after sliding the outside hole over the lock receiver.
The next process involves placing a foam mattress on the trailer floor. Placed 5 feet wide side up to the back wall. Place a 6 feet length flat mattress on the floor. The remaining 2 feet of space in the front of the trailer is a place to store camping gear.
The last thing to do is close the door. It is then slid out of the gate opening into position over the receiver outside the lock. Secure the master hair in the receptacle outside the lock. The door is now closed. This is needed to keep the door trailers safe during travel. Camp Six is now complete and ready for camp.
