Duran Duran’s Top 10 Best Songs of My Time

As a child and teenager, Duran Duran was the ultimate band. They were also my number one favorite. In fact, they still are today. Those songs, those, those, those; they were all fans of the music! The songs mean something to me, each one for memory and a special place in my heart. These songs remind me of the past and give me some hope for the future. As ridiculous as it sounds, Duran Duran and their music are just a part of me. These ten songs are the cream of the Duran Duran crop in my eyes.

10. Make a safe prayer. But this song was very different from Duran Duran’s time. The other music was much slower. That’s the part that struck me. So thinking and living. It touched me in a deep place and allowed me to really feel it. That’s great when it becomes a teenager. That song said so many things that most music just can’t touch. I like to close my eyes and just be when this song hits the airwaves.

9. Easy Memory. This song is simply too cool to describe! I like to think about the time in a person’s life when things should be a little safe and free. By moving his pace to convey that emotion. I just love how this song moves.

8. The calendar of Mondays. This song was just a little fun. Plain and simple gameplay. I enjoy the beat, the pace and the words. Just hearing this song brings me a smile, Same. Any song that’s a hit in my book does.

7. Eich. This song was really broken up group. And, I think, to the fans of the group. Once this song was turned into a video, Duran Duran was forever changed and so was their fan base. Too cool for words.

6. Notorious. This song was introduced to me much later than most classic Duran Duran songs. But I knew right away that I really loved this song. This still carried the Duran Duran era. It was a terrible sound. I felt it was the beginning of the “second century” of music entertainment. Just moved to a new beat. But it still sounded like classic Duran Duran.

5. The union of the serpent. It was just a wild song. A wild and emotional ride. My best friend and I loved Duran Duran as teenagers with this song as our flagship song. He just loved this song. Too much fun.

4. Hungry as a Wolf. I always think of the music video when I think of this song. The boy was really different when the woman was doing the hunting in the video. Kind of refreshing and empowering. A truly wonderful song, amen.

3. Reflection Now, this song was the reason Duran Duran got so big so quickly. I adore this song. The situation is so different. I remember the video was one of the first ones I saw. It was wild and unusual. And for some reason, it just sticks right away. I have always been connected to music. It was wild and unusual, and I thought about myself. Even if I could never act on those feelings, I could still live through that image of Reflex. It’s thought to be the first song to mention Duran Duran and Reflex.

2. Wild children. When this song first came out, it became rather a favorite of mine. fall asleep to this song. Then there was the video. Duran Duran was huge at a time when MTV was getting huge. Those things combined really brought the Wild Boys to the forefront of great music. I see it is burned into my brain. I thought it was one of the most interesting and different things I had seen on TV in a very long time. It was just a casino. A true work of art. I will always love this song.

1. A View to kill. This will always be my favorite Duran Duran song. It was a bond film song. It’s a huge feat right now and has sent the song into the instant classic category. This song will be remembered forever because it is attached to the popular Bond movie. I loved that video because the members of Duran Duran became part of the action right along with the band itself. It’s a great pregnancy. Including a band in an action film was a new concept at the time. I love this song. I have this MySpace page right now.

All these songs make Duran Duran my favorite band of all time. Just listen to any and all Duran Duran albums and you’ll fall in love with them too!
