e.e. Cummings’ “In Just”: A Look at the Poet’s Indefinable Style

I myself e.e. Cummings’ poetry. Now let’s talk about a special poem that is read in class from the anthology entitled “In Just”.

The style that Cummings uses will appeal to someone who doesn’t care about the formalities within poetic structure, and doesn’t really care about grammar or spacing in their writing. A good example is how the nouns “eddieandbill” (line 6) come together to show how little talking to kids. To me, Cummings is so interesting because he writes as if he knows that there is no exact knowledge that the writer has to use in the process. In fact, Cummings would frighten an English teacher at his worst with all those words he ran together, the lack of correct punctuation, and the lack of correct capitalization. In addition to the expression “puddle-wonderful” or “muddy” (line 4) the man does not even capitalize his name or the word 1, but now it is difficult to say whether the people want it this way. to notice his work, or if he did so, to show his humility. His writing shows that he doesn’t take himself too seriously even though he can write about a serious subject.

It is difficult to place Cummings in style. Regarding the styles that have been discussed, you certainly cannot call him a lyricist, because his work does not necessarily deal with emotions, or at least because it is not his main topic, although he wrote about emotions. He doesn’t seem to write a ballad, he doesn’t seem to sing anything like a song. The sonnets are far too rigidly constructed, especially when talking about Cummings, even though he wrote sonnets such as “The Cambridge Medes that lived in their souls arrayed.” Again, the sentences in this capitalization are lacking. They just don’t seem like formulas like Shakespeare’s poetry. Concrete doesn’t really describe Cummings or in the case of “In Just” because it’s not really about a funny story because it doesn’t tell any funny jokes even though it’s a story about a joke memories from childhood. In the mouth of the free verse is the kind where Cummings is probably placed as far as I can determine. This is because Cummings is a joke, you can’t do his work Dove, and it is unique and vague. Of course, a lot at times it is difficult to figure out what he is talking about because his work seems to be simply words in no order, but what makes his songs different. joy in poetry is something that is not written enough in poetry that is often not written in genres.

A poem that is not one of my favorites is “To Autumn” by John Keats. I was assigned this again in class, and it’s still hard for me to understand. I always thought of a guy who was looking out the window of the cell leaves to fall and waiting for autumn to start. “Sitting in the barn carelessly you” (line 14) gave me this theory. He is talking about fruit that begins to grow on vines that are still very ripe. “And fill the fruit with maturity in the heart.” (line 6.) He speaks of how the spring came out. “Where are the spring songs?” The reason this poem is not interesting in my view is because it is hard for me to understand. Help me with what this poem is about.
