Easy Potato Salad Recipe

Below is one of the easiest ways to make potato salad. It only requires three ingredients and you can vary the flavor to your liking by changing the type of dressing you use.

Potatoes
Boiled eggs or
boiled eggs
Creamy
salad dressing

How many potatoes or eggs do you need to feed how many people? Plan for one year per person. Then they use one egg for every two or three people. So if you are feeding eight people, you will need eight potatoes and three or four eggs. You can wear as little or as much clothing as you like. If you are only making a small serving, one bottle of dressing is plenty. If you are feeding a group of people, you will need two or three bottles of care.

Peel your potatoes if you like. You can cook them with the skins or then remove the skins after they are cooked (so much easier) or you can save the skins and make a potato salad with the skins (yummy and super easy).

Cube or cut the potatoes into the size pieces you want to use in the potato dish. Then cook the potatoes in boiling water and cook just until pieces can be pierced with a fork, usually about 10 minutes for cubes and maybe even less time, depending on their thickness. Drain and cool.

If you don’t want to bother with boiled eggs, you can buy a container of salted eggs and use them. Salted eggs are quite cheap and there is no cooking involved! And since they are salty, they add a bit of zest to the potato dish.

When your potatoes have cooled, put them in a large bowl. Cut the eggs and throw them in. Then add the creamy salad dressing of your choice. Just add some dressing and excitement. Then add something more interesting and exciting. When the potato salad is the thickness you like, you have added enough dressing. If you keep the potato salad in the fridge for a day or two, it will absorb the dressing, so you’ll need extra dressing have something on hand to add to the potato salad just before serving.
