Like most brides-to-be, as soon as I received my bride’s proposal, I was on the news to pick up a variety of bridal-related magazines. Oh, the possibilities are endless. How in the world was the bride-to-be to choose the perfect gown?
Well, it didn’t take long to fall at all like I wanted. Paging through a popular publication, I turned four pages to a company called Pronovia. Although one gown in particular didn’t jump out at me as “the one,” I knew right away that this company would provide me with the dress of my dreams.
Pronovia is a family-owned Barcelona-based business that leads the bridal industry on an international level. Although they are headquartered in Spain, Pronovia has retailers in many countries including France, Germany and the United States. >. Every June customers from all over the world come to Spain to somehow show where new ideas flourish. Pronovia’s collections show white designs that are romantic, but with a twist. They make more feathers on the shoulder and use strapless dress styles with unique materials such as: lace, lace, fabric flowers. , soft chiffon, layers of silk, crystal beads and even synthetic feathers. Their styles are contemporary, but debated; every prince’s dream came true.
Notable Pronovia designers include: Lydia Delgado, Hannibal Laguna, Manual Mota and Miguel Palacio. Everyone has their own sense of passion, so there are a variety of different types of clothing, from fancy and unique to traditional and simple. Overall, their designs are subtly seductive, chic and classic. Wedding gowns for all the world to enjoy.
I found my dream dress in bridal shops based in Chicago. I only tried on the second dress and immediately knew this was “the one”. It’s light and airy, with an A-line, shimmering style and lots of beautiful layers flowing back to a simple, yet sophisticated train. The shoulders and forehead are decorated with silk, rosettes, fabric flowers and small, very thin, white feathers. It has unique, faux, chiffon sleeves that can be draped softly from my shoulder with a softer hook or a softer dress. The boutique owner was pleased with “a little shameless silence.” I felt more like a Greek goddess than a Barcelona-inspired bride. I didn’t even opt for a veil, because the attitude itself was enough to be true of many of Pronovia’s designs. My outfit was everything I hoped for and more. It was reasonably priced at around $1,000.
You can find Pronovia retailers at www.pronovias.com. Prices range from $700.00 to over $3,000.00. They also include shorter cocktail style dresses as well as dresses. From simple dresses, Pronovia has something for every modern or traditional bride.
