As the grass blossoms and grows green, we enter the wedding season. Celebrity weddings have long set the precedent for spectacular weddings. Not wanting to fall behind, Eli Manning married his longtime girlfriend Abby McGrew in a beachfront ceremony in Mexico last Saturday. The wedding cost was estimated at $500,000 and was taking place in Mexico along the Sea of Cortez. The survey lasted sixteen minutes, which would break up to more than $31,000 per minute.
In a much longer affair, NBA center Yao Ming married Vos Li in Shanghai on August 6, 2007. Ming, known for his height, worshiped Li when they were teenagers. The superstar’s ceremony lasted about three hours, although low budget was considered to be more famous than other weddings. Only seventy people attended the event at a five-star hotel in Shanghai.
Tony Parker and Eva Longoria came to France for their wedding. Earlier in a public ceremony on July 7, 2007, Parker and Longoria were legally married in a civil ceremony. Weddings were celebrated events, and athletes and players alike attended. While the couple has remained tight-lipped about the ceremony, inside looks show the couple spared no expense in creating the perfect wedding /a>.
November 14, 1998 saw a completely different kind of wedding. That day, Chicago bull bad boy Dennis Rodman walked down the aisle with model Carmen Electra. Two weddings in Las Vegas, and the legality of the wedding is quickly discussed. Rodman initially stated that they were drunk at the time of the ceremony and indicated that he was going to get the marriage annulled. Rodman and Electra’swedding and marriage was not a show of love.
Golf great Colin Montgomery’s wedding couldn’t be further from Rodman and Electra. The Montgomery ceremony was held on April 20, 2008, and included royal family. Prior to the wedding, Montgomery played a round of golf with the wedding guests. It is thought that the singer Robbie Williams before the celebrity filled the crowd performed in the celebrity.
Celebrity wedding style and celebrity interiors. When Velleius Rodman and Carmen Electra flew to the altar, then as quickly as possible to the divorce court, most of the public were not surprised. Both of their personalities indicated that they were capable of such behavior. Eli Manning’s ceremony, cheap by celebrity standards, showed his low-key attitude. Manning is usually in the shadow of his older brother, and is not known for showing off. While $500,000 is incredibly expensive, it’s not a lot of money for what Manning makes per year in the NFL. Parker and Longoria showed the importance of romance in their relationship by choosing France as the location for their wedding. Few could find a more romantic place than France. Montgomerie shows that she has matured and has class through friendly pre-contacts and private affairs.
Although celebrities have their bankbooks in common, their tastes differ greatly. This is proven when they have different celebrity wedding appearances. Some think bigger is better, others feel the importance of the day with the bride and groom.
