Bayfield Lake Festival, Wisconsin will be held October 5-7, 2007. The popular festival is listed among the “Top Ten Autumn Festivals in North America” by the Society of Travel writers. The Bayfield Festival attracts more than 60,000 annual visitors to the small picturesque town overlooking the hillside of Apostle Island. More than 45 orchards and food stalls sell goodies, bad desserts and goodies from Bayfield. Visitors to Bayfield will be able to enjoy treats such as caramel apples, apple pie, apple twists, apple pie, apple tarts, and apple sundaes , apple cider, a bunch of bad things.
The festival features rides “The Best of the Big Top”, the Bayfield Carnegie Library Book Sale, the Apostle Islands Cruise, Scavenger Hunt, Maritime Museum, Bayfield Firemen Fish Boil, Live Entertainment, Pony Rides, Blue Boat Parade and much more. Children will love Cat with games and laugh. On Sunday, the Grand Parade will feature a 500-member Mass Band that marches in red uniforms to the song “Of Wisconsin.” Arts and crafts will feature the work of more than 150 vendors, so you can show off your gear and gifts.
