I live south of Dayton in Springboro, Ohio and it’s just twenty five minutes from me West Chester at the Farmers Market. 6370 South Mason Montgomery Road in Mason, Ohio. It is open from July through October on Saturdays and hours from 8:00 to 12:00 pm. They have large plums, sweet and juicy. Also peppers, peppers, zucchini, sweet peas, cantaloupe, large melons, onions, tomatoes and many other fruits. They also have fresh herbs like basil, which I love to make pesto with.
They also have good homemade-bread if you get there early, jams, salt and honey.

I work in Dayton, Ohio and am lucky enough to have a year round farmers market just two blocks from where I work. The National 2nd Street Public Market is located at 600 2 East 2nd Street in Dayton, Ohio. It is open to the public on Thursday and Friday from 11 am to 3 pm and Saturday from 8 am to 3 pm. This lovely market is filled with all kinds of fresh cooking vegetables. I love cauliflower, carrots, zucchini, peas, onions and carrots. Lettuce, tomatoes and radishes are great salads.

The Windmill Farm Market is the closest to me, it’s only seven minutes away and it’s located in Springboro, Ohio State Fair 1454 Route 73. They are open from early April through late October, Tuesday through Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm. The fruit is excellent in this farmer’s market and I like it when the raspberries are red and black at the right time, they are best with vanilla Cream for a second table“. They also grow almonds, pears, peaches, strawberries and new apple pie.
