Marble Bathroom Vanities are an expensive luxury that most people just can’t afford. If you have an existing bathroom vanity though, it’s easy to paint your faux marble Bathroom Vanity that’s all foolproof.
With a little paint and some elbow grease you can easily paint your faux marble Bathroom Vanity over the weekend.
This plan will cost you about $75. You should complete the Faux Marble Bathroom Vanity in one weekend, but spend a lot of extra days applying coats of polyurethane to protect your work.
For your Faux Painting Marble Bathroom Vanity you need:
Some tray
3 China will brush with a brush
artists pangere setis
latex paint, egg gloss: (base coat: Antique White); three or four marble colors (Tatimi Tan, Jute Brown, Coyote Trail 1224, Leather bound) – These paint colors form Sherwin Williams
sea sponge
water bottle
First grade (Kilz)
Some test
cheese cloth
plastic containers
finally, sandpaper
paper towels, old cloths
semi-gloss acrylic varnish
foam roller and handle
Clean Bathroom Vanity washed with ammonia base. Make sure it is completely dry before proceeding with this project.
Start by lightly drying your bathroom vanity Vanity. wipe again to clean the surface of your work;
Now, the first Kitchen Tops is rolled in a coat of high quality latex base primer. Use a smooth paint roller. This latex base will be primarily smelly, so open your windows if possible.
Once it has dried, look around first to see if your Bathroom vanity with another light needs sanding. If the surface is smooth, you can proceed to the next step. If you find a rough or muddy area, sand and paint again.
Now take three different small painter’s jars and mix each of the 3 marble colors in one part. water and one part latex shell. This mixture should be thick, but not gooey.
Squirt the Tatimi Tan and Leather Bound mixture on the small area in the bathroom Vanity, and then use a dry clean cloth to clean the edges.
Next, apply a Mar- stic vein to the look by applying a mixture of Camelback and Jute Brown to a natural flowing line with a dry drawing brush or cheesecloth. Marbles don’t look realistic if you see brush marks, so your glass is dry by sweeping in a crosswise motion. Turn yourself into a different one, and repeat.
You need to create a three-dimensional marble bathroom vanity to refresh the painted panel. Take one of your sponges and dip it lightly. Squeeze out some water. Now, the painted area is rewet. Use your clean dry brush again in a sweeping motion to blend any lines.
Now repeat this process for the entire Bathroom Vanity. I like my tape Bathroom Vanity in blocks of tiles to find in the real bathroom marble Vanity.
If any area faux marble paint needs treatment veins, coil and artist brush with Antique White to draw the paint over the space. If the streak is too wide, use a dry brush to blend carefully, then try again.
Allow your painted faux marble bathroom vanity to dry and then coat it with some varnish or polyurethane.
