Did you know that Judy Blume also writes books for adults? He does so. And my ultimate favorite was Wifey, when I first read that book….I was like freaked out. But I found this new season in the canals the other day and decided to read it. It’s called Eternal… and I want to share my thoughts about this book with you!
I found this book more along the lines of young than adult. It will be useful for those who are new to the sex, and in true love, or puppy love. I hope to find out when I try this.
Katherine is a virgin, and she wants to be perfect for the first time, and with someone she really loves. Michael is more experienced, and he also has a reputation for shy parts. He wants to love Catherine, but forces himself to obey her wishes. Catherine’s grandmother works for Planned Parenthood. Another thing I found quite informative and professional.
To support getting insurance, stick to your guns, and love young people. This book was very good and an eye opener. I must admit, I did not expect things to be organized when Katherine and Michael had to find summers. . But it proves that some of us are fish in the sea and love ore than one person, and do the thing honestly.
I don’t want to blow the story line for you, but I think if you have teen-age children in particular, you need to read this book. I’ll be fair and honest, I have a fourteen year old daughter; and his best friend conceived at this very age. So I gave this book to my daughter because I wanted her to know that your first love is not always your last love.
I wanted to see it from someone else’s eyes, not just mine, and this book was the perfect way. to see And so he read the book, I also glanced at it, to make sure that he actually read it, and it was not fake. She, too, loved the book and found it informative.
On a scale of one to ten, I give this book a nine because it’s adult, while it’s more along the lines of youth. I think it is necessary to read it, even for grown-up children. It will help them to be referred to. I loved the book, it was very easy to read, very informative about ways to seek help, what paths to turn, how to change your friendships, and relationships, and how to say no, and mean it.
This is an excellent read, and as I said, if you have years, you should get this book and give it a read. Now take heart, you already know Judy Blume, your child. He welcomed the boy, through the age with similar books: Superfudge, and God is there, Margret is there, and many more. The writer is avid, and now he takes one and all. He is a very good writer, and very open and honest. I am impressed.
Judy Blume lives with her husband George Cooper in Key West.
