After several months, the unfortunate Booker T, who is also known as King Booker, finally reached an agreement with WWE for release from the company.
Ever since TNA wrestling started, fans have been waiting for every top wrestler who leaves WWE to head for TNA. TNA is the second largest wrestling company in the United States. A TNA wrestler won’t have as much exposure as WWE or pay as much as WWE but TNA can offer a much more casual schedule with minimal travel involved.
Unfortunately it has gotten to the point where TNA fans don’t want WWE wreckers to go to TNA. TNA fans were happy when top stars like Christian Cage and Kurt Angle joined WWE, but other former WWE talents like Test, Junior Fatu and Black Reigns is now taking away TNA’s surplus money and screen time for better talent.
BOOKER t is a different story though. Booker T would be a great addition to the TNA roster.
First of all, Booker T is very talented, as well as most of the bad WWE castoffs like Billy Gunn, Road Dogg, Junior Fatu, and Black Reign Booker T is up there in age, but he’s still closer to talent like Kurt Angle and Christian Cage.
Another complaint about WWE talent going to TNA is that TNA doesn’t look good for wrestlers who couldn’t cut it in WWE and were fired. Although a wrestler like Rhino was a pretty good fan, I think he could be in TNA because he couldn’t cut it in WWE. That’s not the case with Booker T. Booker T is leaving the WWE on his own terms because he’s unhappy there. Booker T didn’t leave because he wasn’t good enough to stay in WWE.
A lot of booker t fans will also object to him going tna. Every fan wants their favorite wrestler to be booked well in whatever wrestling company they are in and most people feel that tna does not book Booker T the best. But when does WWE book T well? WWE teamed Booker T with Goldust. It seemed like a horrible idea, but Booker T made it work. Booker T as King Booker was the worst idea but Booker T made it work. BOOKER T also survived his G. I. Bro gimmick in WCW.
I doubt tna book you Booker T too well, but Booker T is so nice that it does all the work. He’s a lot like Christian Cage in TNA. TNA’s booking has been terrible for months, but Christian Cage continues to have great conversations and matches everywhere.
Also let’s not forget that the current writer in TNA, Vince Russo, wanted T. Booker T. Booker T became the first main eventer in WCW since Vince Russo was the bookie and Booker T was the first event since.
Some might say that one main event is bad because younger stars like AJ Styles and Samoa Joe there will be one man before them. But at this point we can also accept that the talent of young people will probably never be pushed the way we want. So what’s better for the main event? Who wants a Russian push and fans do not like, or who wants a Russian push and fans like?
Vince Russo will push Booker T and while it might take Samoa Joe or AJ Styles to win the TNA World Title, he’s better than Sting. Jeff Jarrett or Kurt Angle as TNA World Champion.
