Would you like to shop? If so, then I would like you to imagine a place that has so many shops and stores in one place that you can’t even walk – you have to act. Thanks to Frederick Central Park, you don’t think it’s a dream come true. Central Park is much more than a mallet strip – it’s like a mallet on heavy steroids. We mean several square blocks or shops, stores, restaurants and gas stations – all centralized in one place.
First, let’s talk logistics. You can get to Central Park off I-95 about 40 minutes from Richmond and about 50 minutes from D.C. From I-95 you take exit 130B and then simply take the exit right into Central Park. You should probably think about spending more time here at least if it’s your first visit.
Central Park has many of the shops that you can find in Anytown, USA. The unique thing about Central Park is that they are all within a stone’s throw of each other, so you don’t have to run errands all over the city. Central Park also has a section of Fredericsburg specialty shops that make the trip if you’re out of town. A list of shops and restaurants is included at the end of the article for you to enjoy. If you’ve been here for more than a few hours, you must be hungry. Maybe not! Central Park has more restaurants in a one mile radius than I’ve ever seen – Ruby Tuesday, Cici’s Pizzeria, Olive Garden, Joe’s Crab Shack and IHOP – just scratch the surface. There are also mandatory fast foods like Chic-fil-a and McD, among others scattered throughout the Central Park. Are your feet so tired from walking? Take a seat and enjoy a movie in the 15-story movie theater or get pampered in one of the many salons. Whatever you’re looking for, whether it’s the Dollar Tree or a place to drop off a $10,000 ring in Central Park, it truly has it all! Happy Shopping!
