Free Crochet Patterns – Amigurumi Bears

Amigurumi is a Japanese technique of crocheting little stuffed dolls or stuffed animals (see my article How to make Amigurumi dolls for more information on this fun crochet technique). If you love crochet, and if you love cute little bears, you’ll love crocheting these adorable Amigurumi bears!

All Amigurumi patterns are free. You’ll have to register one site for two copies, but it’s worth it. However, some of the models below do not require any registration. You just click the link and print out the instructions! From there you can start making some Amigurumi bears to add to your Amigurumi collection. Or you can donate these sweet bears to your local pet shelter so they can sell them to raise funds.

Amigurumi Bear #1 – Brown Bear: This is a very easy Amigurumi bear pattern. to follow The bear has a simple shape and is therefore a good pattern for those who are just starting from Amigurumi crochet projects. This particular example is on the Lionbrand site and they require you to order it. But registration is quick and easy and I don’t send spam. Once on their site you will love all the free patterns. Amigurumi Bear #2 – Honey Pot Bear: This Amigurumi bear is so sweet! For it is as sweet as a pot of honey, and that crochet. Amigurumi Bear #3 – Teddy Bear: This Amigurumi has the shape and body of a bear. Bull bear. He is handsome in big clothes and a winter scarf. So you know, the model is indeed free. The designer has a request that people buy the pdf version from her store, but that was several years ago and the electronic version sold out and her Etsy store closed. Amigurumi Bear #4 – Scotty Bear: This is another Amigurumi bear from Lionbrand that you will need to order. But the bear is considered very cute and easy to crochet. This template is in pdf format so you will need Adobe or a pdf reader to download the template.
