Whether you want to play alone or against other online participants, Yay Games hosts plenty of free, addictive entertainment in the way of games. Word games stimulate the brain, even to the extent of preventing an early onset of disease if used daily. I’m sure Jay Is Games will contain a free word game for every lover of words like me. However, if you can’t find one that suits you, keep in mind that new games are added to the site all the time. Allow me to highlight some selections of free online-games-for-children”>online word games in Jay Is Sports.

Weboggle
This addictive, free word play pits game against over 100 others online share for life, the electronic version of Boggle. When I found this online, I immediately thought of putting myself in the top 10 because when I play on the regular board game Boggle, My score is always unique. One reason the game is so addictive, however, is because you play and try to improve your placement in the score list. I never made it to the top 10, but I finally made it to the top 25! When you click on the game and then type in your name, there will be an option to play on a 4×4 board or a 5×5 board. This free online version of Boggle lets you turn the board as you go, and at the end of each round it provides statistics: the words you missed, the words everyone missed, the words you only found, and the number of possible ones. the words in that table. You can of course invite your friends to play and see who can perform better in this fast word game!

Words
While we’re talking about fast, free word games on the internet, I have to play this game called “Words” that I recently discovered. Be careful: although it is addictive, it can burn your eyes if you use it for a long time without any breaks in time, which requires a certain amount of focus and like the eyes of Magic to look at pictures. If you like typing, or want to practice your typing skills (for those of you who have a certain requirement for work), “Words” is a great game to play. I personally find gaming rather challenging because the keyboard is so small on my laptop. All you have to do to play this game is your name or other type, choose your language (for example English), then start typing the words that start scrolling across the screen. The words scroll faster as you progress further in the game. Make sure you type every single word before it reaches the other side of the screen, or your game will be over. I made it up to the 90th place, but only because I was interrupted and distracted by someone in the room. Hint: don’t play where you get easily distracted if you want to score high. The game provides a percentage of your accuracy as you act, and keeps track of your points. Each correct letter type is worth 1 point; Each wrong letter typed results in you losing 5 points out of your score. Sometimes you’ll get overlapping words moving across the screen at the same speed; in this case, luck! Often the words on the screen can be seen, either because you are looking so intently at the screen or because of the speed with which the words move. In this case, it seems to me that it is advisable to look at the whole word, to express what the type means, rather than focusing on individual letters. Typing in class graduates should have no problem with this game!

8 Letters
But another book, a race-against-the-clock word game, combines “8-letter” concepts from Boggle and anagrams to scramble. In each level, you are given to unscramble an 8-letter word as well as to play an anagram, where you try to find as many other words using those 8 letters as possible. In order to pass the given time limit, at least the target score must be achieved, unless the 8-letter word itself has to be found. Like Boggle, the plural and singular forms of the same word count two words. One of the more annoying features in this game is that you actually press the “Submit” button to enter a word rather than hitting the “enter” button on your keyboard. On the same note, you should also hit the “clear” button to remove all letters from the player board if you make a mistake. I enjoyed this word game book for a while, but it’s probably not one of my favorites.

Text Twist
Again, this free, online word game is not one of my favorites. It’s basically the same game as “8 Letters” in terms of how to play it, but it’s a little different in how it’s set up. Text Twist provides a 6-letter word scramble for the player to unscramble, and find other specific words within the 6 letters. Text Twist gives you spaces so you know how many 3-letter words, 4-letter words, 5-letter words, etc. can be found within 6 letters. As opposed to reaching the target score in the game “8 Letters”, the goal of each level in Twist the Text is to unscramble and guess the 6-letter word to advance to the next level. If you get stuck, you can also press the button that says “twist” so that the letters are reduced to another order, which may or may not help you in finding more words. The same host characters that I mentioned above in the “8 letter” game also apply to the Twist text. Well, at least these online word games are free; no one wants to be perfect!

Cross
This is a word game that mixes the use of words and logic. This game is not afraid, so you can play at your own pace and recover from mistakes if you need to. Maybe it’s the lack of fear that makes the game easy for me personally, but I still enjoy it as a quick game. This free crossword game differs from other crosswords because it does not provide clues to express the words in the puzzle; but it gives the places of certain letters of the alphabet and gives you a picture of which other letters are used in the puzzle and where. If you click on a certain square in the cross, all of the other squares in the puzzle that also contain the same letter will light up where you click. You then decide which letters you think you should go to all those places, according to the letters provided to you in the puzzle. Crossword includes Beginner, Easy, Normal, Hard, and Expert levels. As you progress through the grades, the number of letters already provided decreases, so you need more knowledge of concepts and words. I don’t even find the Expert level difficult, but I still like this version of crossword-puzzle since I’m not always good at getting it right real crosswords!

Word Sandwich
Have you ever stupid game where one person thinks of a number and the other person tries to figure out what that number is to be “superior” or “inferior”? Well, this free word game reminds me of that numbers game. To do well in this game, really know your 5-letter words very well! Because I can’t think that quickly without actually studying ahead of time, I’m not lucky in this game! Who wants to just study and play the game? The goal is to guess a mystery 5-letter word by guessing any other random 5-letter words. When a word is typed, the slot moves either “above” or “below” the slot, depending on where the relation of the mystery word is in the alphabet. For example, if the mystery word you are trying to figure out is “start” and you write the word “clothes”, then your word “clothes” will move to the top slot. Now you know that the mystery word in the dictionary is lower than the word “clothes.” You have 50 guesses to get the correct word guess, so be careful how quickly you enter the words, because each guess decreases your name; at the same time, the faster you guess the words, the bigger your multiplier will be, every time you enter a word. This is one tip I can give you for this game to make it easier to think of single 4-letter words and add “s” to them to make plural and 5-letter words. That’s certainly a start. This word-book game seems to be addictive, but maybe that’s only if you excel.

Well, all the free online word games now shine on it. Goodbye and enjoy!
