A year and a half ago, when I first started looking for money making opportunities, I signed up with a company called The Freelance Work Exchange. According to ads that were all over the internet, I could get $2.95 to access 1000’s of free online writing jobs, including the free writing gigs that I am most interested in being a writer. After the first month, the monthly subscription price goes up to $29.95.
At first it seemed like a legitimate opportunity, and since I had it in mind that I would find my way to work from home, as I hope the writer, initially indicated a monthly investment of almost thirty dollars. Boy, was I wrong! In fact, I fell down wanting to investigate this opportunity more carefully. Like many other opportunities that I paid money to try and then lost my money such as “reward stuff envelopes” and others, this one it was not different.
One of the main problems with Freelance Job Exchange or Freelance Go as they are now called is that many of them are from job listings other sites. can be found for free. Yup, you heard right, many jobs can be found elsewhere for free! Imagine my disgust when I started to find the same jobs listed in the Freelance Job trade on sites like sologig.com and sunoasis.com. Yes, by paying $29.95 per month, you get the opportunity to get a job that other people are doing for free! As you can imagine I was pretty excited when I realized what was going on.
Another problem I’ve noticed with Freelance Work Exchange/Go Freelance is that ads stay up for weeks at a time with few or no new ads being posted. Now that was an eye opener. My reason for getting paid was to start finding freelance writing opportunities and other opportunities that would allow me to work at home. But how was I supposed to do with the same ads week after week? Not only that, but the longer I wait, the more I like the dishes, because they were going to charge about $29.95 for another month together. More audit equals less ability to deliver opportunity. It wasn’t rocket science to figure out that the website wasn’t maintained on a regular basis.
Oh, did I mention the e-books that are supposed to tell you other ways to make money from freelancing? didn’t I Come on, I want it now. Another trick is to use Freelance Work Exchange/Go Freelance, they will send you e-books that are written by the founder, that will tell you how to maximize your income, and how the founder did it. Well, here’s the thing, those e-books died horribly by the time I got the copies, and almost all the links that were inside died. Now, to tell you something right there, getting an email that has like the keys to the kingdom, but is full of dead links. Obviously, these books only went for them because they were e-books, not dwarfs, and they didn’t waste paper. Besides that, they were cheap.
But guess what? Not only were the links on the e-books dead…but many of the links on their site were dead, or lead pages saying they were under construction and would be back soon, but they never were. That was one of the things that put me off, here I am saying that I am paying good money for just a service lead, and I would like to make a connection, or get more information and the connection would be dead or undefined. under construction It is also a sad fact that many times there were dead links on the site to get more information than to make more money using their site. Now someone please tell me why the heck society has to sabotage itself this way? Of course they don’t care. The whole idea was to get your money, which brings me to the next point about this company.
First let me say that I was very lucky. When I signed up for this fake account, I used paypal account which allowed me to use Tinnitus to remove the subscription when it was found to be a scam. but others, as far as I know, did not know. Many of them used credit or debit card. They did so, and they figured the bench was pretty much stuck for at least a few months. Here is why. While this website has a link to unsubscribe, it takes you all the way through clicking on the link on the page. Meanwhile, while you are doing everything you can think of to get a real body either by phone or email, they will continue to charge you a monthly fee. That’s right, you’re getting it. Another bad thing about this company is if you look at the new site we have listed on Google, it may be a Greek company. This news is nothing to me as when I looked at their information on the old page there was not a lot of contact information from ” but overseas, so it was really difficult to cancel your subscription or contact them for any other reason. The US address is listed in the new location, but it is doubtful whether it is legal or not.
I guess the reason Freelance Work Exchange changed its name to go Freelance is because of the reputation it has. He is entitled to the old name. The company probably hopes that by changing its name it can change its image, but it is not deceived. This company is not a legitimate opportunity to find free work. With all the free job listings available online there is no reason why anyone should pay their hard earned money. such as jobs. So do yourself a favor and ask for a clear Freelance Job/Go Freelance trade, because there is no legitimate opportunity to find free work.
