Baby Shower games are one of the highlights at baby showers. We expect many guests to win these games. They provide fun and great ways to make new friends. I will ask mom if you have games at the next baby shower. You should have prizes for the winners of your games, and perhaps an excellent door prize. Always buy a few extra prizes incase there is a tie in one of the games.
Door Prize
I saw this once at baby shower and thought it was a great idea. The door prize was a gift card for $20 cash to a local restaurant. You can do what you want. When the invitations are sent out, write on the paper and bring a bunch of diapers to go in the doormat. Or wipe the package. You want to be a lot that the baby uses. If they bring diapers, get some larger sizes. Then they have a table set up for people to put the item they bought and give them a raffle ticket or have them write their name on a piece of paper and put it in a bowl. Before all the papers draw a name and the door man gets a prize.
Name itbaby item
You must have each letter of the alphabet printed on the paper. Then set a timer for 5 minutes and see who can think of baby things that start with all the letters of the alphabet. When the timer goes off, see who counts the most and get a prize.
Boy Drink Bottle
This is one of the funniest games I’ve seen played. Buy a baby pack bottles and juice or water. We made 4 oz bottles, but you can choose any you want. Give each a small bottle and drink it off. See who finsih the bottle the fastest. He receives the reward.
baby food jars and spoons will be quite necessary. I suggest fruits that most adults like processed vegetables. He also needs bibs for half of the guests. Spoons and bibs when all are done can save the baby. You will need to gather all the pairs. Make sure you have this camera ready. Put one and two drinks in a blind fold. He who is veiled shall feed the person to drink. The team that goes first wins. Give each player of the winning team a small prize. Then the teams will switch positions and play again.
Spare the change
Let everyone know ahead of time to bring some spare change with them. We do change money but you could do pennies if you want. A large baby bottle bank, or something similar for a baby. Put the bank on the table and let everyone know that someday the baby will have money put in the bank. When the party is over, the guest who guesses how much money is in the bank and personal room wins. Give mom some bank money and start a small savings account. fun if you add another word there.
