Wedding guests fearing the inevitable rain will have games to play during the course of the event, but will leave with a smile on their face if they’ve gotten a good chuckle along the way. The following five games have an element of humor that will make the faithful guests laugh – and the bride-to-be will probably find herself funny too.
How sweet it is

Fraudulent Lib
For this personal game, the story of the wedding tricks of use for the bride and groom, what the wedding night. It will be like this, or any event you can think of coupled with it. (My sister once had a great idea to use a “how we met” story from a bride and groom site. ) Leave some of the keys adjectives, nouns, verbs, adverbs and provide the answer sheet with the corresponding box. Guests complete the answer sheet in teams before they see or hear the story. Read each completed Mad Lib calls out to the bride so she can vote for the winner!
Pictures of Babies
Well before the shower, everyone in the wedding party should submit the funniest baby photo they can find, like the current photo. Make a group, poster, or slide show of pictures and ask guests to match each baby photo with their corresponding bridal party member. Whoever can identify the most babies wins the prize. This game is primarily a game for those guests who have known certain members of the party room since childhood.
Chorus of life
Give the guests two small pieces of paper and ask them to write a slow song and a dance song as best they can. you hear that they played at the wedding. Announce after they have turned to the titles of these songs that you are about to read they all describe the life of the bride and groom together. You can either read everything on the fly or review them before reading them out loud while your guests are distracted by another activity. If you are going to review them ahead of time, read only the best poems or break them into categories, such as “In the bedroom” or “Things the groom is going to say to the bride.” The bride can choose the song titles they found funniest or most relevant and the guests who submitted would win the game.
“He said this”
There’s no game here – more like “gotcha” brides – but it’s a fun way to end the shower. While the bride is opening the presents, one of the bridesmaids is crying out for all her exclamations. When opening the presents, announce that you have everything the bride will say on her wedding night. I was embarrassed, but I couldn’t help but smile when the bride read these words, “It’s bigger than I thought it would be!” Shout out to my wedding guests – and of course everyone else is in stitches!
