I had seen something called “Gamer Grub” in stores a lot lately, so I finally decided to give it a try. I play a lot of video games and Gamer Grub is a search engine specifically for gamers (duh). It seemed like a match made in heaven. But how was it?
TAST
Since this is a food review, let’s focus on what’s most important: taste. Gamer Grub comes in four different flavors: S’mores, Pizza, BBQ, and PB+J. I tried both the S’mores and BBQ flavors. Of those two, S’mores is by far the best (marshmellow, graham, and chocolate mix is hard to beat in any form). The BBQ flavor is a blend of smoked almonds, BBQ corn kernels, spiced and toffee peanuts, and sesame BBQ sticks. Although I’m not really a fan of crunchy snacks, it wasn’t bad either. Both varieties had a strong flavor and no rancid aftertaste.
NUTRITION
Unlike other popular game snacks which are high in fat and sodium, Gamer Grub is really good for you! Looking at the back of each package, you can see that it has more vitamins and minerals to give you more support for those long-lasting energy. gambling nights Gamer Grub also includes something called “neurotransmitters” to keep you focused. Eating Gamer Grub isn’t quite like drinking an energy drink where you suddenly see a spike in energy but you sure feel a little more focused . They can also be surprisingly filling.
I AM LIGHT
One of the first things I noticed about this product is that the package displays “non-greasy fingers” and has a unique teardrop top. This allows you to move the pack to pour the contents straight into your mouth. At first, this seems silly or silly, but there is actually a reason. If you don’t touch the food, your fingers will stay clean! This allows you to also keep your controllers or cleaning-wipes”>clean unless you first stop and wipe your hands. Not only that, but don’t stop eating the game at all. Tears n’ Pound gives the top as an RPG quick snack between deaths in FPS or while traveling in RPG.
This feature gives Gamer Grub a slight advantage over other popular snack foods like Cheeze-Eas which can leave a residue on your figures (not the same effect as Cheetos but it still happens). Gamer Grub leaves your hands dry and clean.
VERDICT
Game Grub is a pretty good snack for the gamer who is looking for something quick during long gaming sessions. It’s likely to replace the old hys-bys like ordering an pizza, but it’s definitely a lot less messy and faster to eat than one. While your friends are trying to scarf down that big pepperoni and cheese, you can play and eat at the same time!
When it comes to food, it usually boils down to whether you want to eat it or not. With four different flavors to choose from and a variety of flavors, every player is sure to find at least one they like. Definitely try the S’mores at least.
