I have always been fond of Garnier products. My main attraction came when I was first introduced to their Garnier hair care line of products many years ago. Recently though, in addition to hair care products, we have noticed more and more skin care products made by Garnier. .
I was a fan of L’Oreal facial lotions, and Neutrogena, so I was in no rush to jump in. the entire Garnier facial line; especially seeing how the prices of such products were a bit…expensive.
When I was offered a free trial on a sizeable package of Garnier Nutritioniste Ultra-Lift Anti-Wrinkle Firming Night Cream I jumped at it. Who turns out free stuff? Thats not me at all.
My decision on the package size is different compared to the full size product. The product comes in a very large full 1.7 ounce bottle, with the lotion slipping into the barrel. The barrel is safely packed in a box of prodigals.
Promise:
According to the package, I put Garnier Nutritioniste Ultra-Lyte Anti-Wrinkle Firming Night Cream on my face and neck right before bed to boost skin elasticity, reduce wrinkles, restore firmness, and intensely moisturize.
It sounded cool, it sounded good. As if I wanted to get rid of something in the purchase. I myself do not work with older people, but in 25 years; I am totally satisfied with keeping my skin youthful and wrinkle free. I was always told by my grandmother who is 65 years old (bless her soul) if I took care of my skin< /a> in my youth, I will keep young, until 65. She had serious skin to back her up would claim.
However, I would like to remove some minor smile lines (crow’s feet) around the eyes. grows worse with age.
Plus the Garnier Nutritioniste Ultra-Light Anti-Wrinkle Firming Night Cream promised to add intense moisture to my skin that I could use.
Location:
Garnier Nutritioniste Ultra-Light Anti-Wrinkle Firming Night Cream is a thick cream. I didn’t expect it to be so creamy. The texture reminded me of toothpaste; but without feeling grainy.
I had a feeling this would be slightly difficult to blend into my skin and would probably absorb into my skin at times.
Odor:
I liked this the most about Garnier Nutritioniste Ultra-Lift Anti-Wrinkle Firming Night Cream. It has that signature Garnier scent that smells to me like fresh, crisp mountain air, infused with a little citrus. It smells absolutely delicious and vibrant. I don’t really like smelling the scent all day.
My experience:
I put some cream on my finger and put it around my eyes. I was surprised that so little had been achieved. One dab of itsy cream and I was able to cover the entire upper half of my face. The cream also spreads easily, which I didn’t expect. It also draws fast, which is a plus.
Cons:
The main thing I didn;t like about the Garnier Nutritioniste Ultra-Lift Anti-Wrinkle Firming Night Cream was that after it was applied, my face felt extremely moist after about an hour. As if it had some sticky/greasy residue on it. It was a very disgusting feeling, so I finished washing my face.
You made me feel like moisturized my face. So much so that it felt like a thin layer of dew had formed on my skin. Not a pleasant mood folks.
Pros:
The lotion absorbs quickly and spreads easily. Garnier Nutritioniste Ultra-Light Anti-Wrinkle Firming Night Cream also has a really nice scent that sticks around for several minutes after applying.
Wrinkle Relief?
Although Garnier Nutritioniste Ultra-Lift Anti-Wrinkle Firming Night Cream left a nasty residue after each day I used it, I continued to use it at night to see how well it worked against smile lines.
Well, 2 weeks into using Garnier Nutritioniste Ultra-Lift Anti-Wrinkle Firming Night Cream, and have yet to see a difference. My crow’s feet are just as crow’s feet as they were when I first started using the cream. I know I will probably use this cream for a month before noticing how well it worked against wrinkles. But for me, if the facial cream doesn’t show any improvement in 2 weeks time, odds are; It will not show any significant event in one month on the time table.
I mostly used face cream, at least it improved my skin color. Garnier Nutritioniste Ultra-Light Anti-Wrinkle Firming Night Cream just didn’t do anything but smell nice, and leave the residue behind.
Over:
I’m personally not too fond of Garnier Nutritioniste Ultra-Lift Anti-Wrinkle Firming Night Cream. However, I think those who suffer from extreme dry skin relief will find this cream a relief, because it sure does a sweet job when when it comes to moisturizing your skin.
