This is a big deal for the German Luau, as the luau at the Polynesian Cultural Center does not serve alcohol because it is a Mormon-owned facility.
At the German Luau, you’ll find great food, a fun and energetic crowd, and it’s all reasonably priced. The all-you-can-eat buffet is only $65 per person, and includes a Polynesian show and shuttle to and from Waikiki. (A luau can run you up to two hundred bucks per person.) The Polynesian show is great, as is the overall experience. If this is going to be your first luau, German is a really good place to start – it’s affordable, fun and folksy.
Located in Kalaeloa on the leeward side of Oahu, the German Luau is about a forty-five minute drive from Waikiki.
