Gourmet Dining’s Beef Stir Fry: Easy and Delicious

If you’re looking for a delicious roast that you can easily make at home, you might want to try Gourmet Dining’s brand of Stir Fry Beef. The hot pot is perfect eaten with beef, lo mein noodles, vegetables and teriyaki sauce.

The bag says it can come out of the “freezer with a fork in minutes”. It takes about 8-10 minutes to heat it up in a kettle or work. You just put in the beef for 1-2 minutes, then the vegetables and noodles for another 5-6 minutes and finally stir in the sauce. In the sauce before running, it needs to be warmed up before the porch.

You literally just pour it into the pan and stir. I’ve done the fry myself before and it takes a lot longer, especially if the chicken or beef is frozen. So much time and effort is spent cutting the meat into small pieces and chopping the vegetables. This is so much easier.

To taste, I thought it was very good. fresh vegetables and tender yet crisp. Vegetables include broccoli, sugar snap peas, sweet potatoes, onions, red peppers, mushrooms and water chestnuts. It was just noodles. The beef could have been slightly fatty, but it had just enough spice to it. The seasoning also had the right amount of spice and was not too strong. I don’t like it when the sauce overpowers the rest of the food; That sauce was soft.

Kids wise, it’s really a protein sauce. It is 97% fat free, with less than 2 grams of fat per 8-ounce serving. It has 11 grams of protein, dietary fiber and 29 grams. It also contains 70% of the daily requirement of Vitamin A, 60 % Vitamin C, 6% Calcium and 15% Iron.

One drawback is the high amount of sodium—41% of what you should have in a day. If you’re like me, you’ll eat two servings so you’ll pretty much hit your daily limit in one meal. It’s probably the most sodium in the sauce, although if you need to watch your sodium intake, you can use less sauce.

This 32-ounce bag cost about $6 at a local market and fed two people. If you go to a Chinese restaurant and order dinner, it is likely to cost a lot for one person. After eating it we were full, but like most meals of this type, we were hungry again in about 2-3 hours. Maybe it would help to add parts of an egg or something.

I would buy this again and don’t mind trying other options. On their website, http://www.gourmetdining.net/, they show all other products and include nutrition information And the ingredients for each of them.

Don’t just take my word for it that’s good, though. Sack says American Culinary Chefs has honored Gourmet Dining with the Best Taste Award for the 5th consecutive year in 2006. The Chefs Best Taste Award is given to the top brands among leading brands by independent personal chefs.
