Faneuil Hall’s food court, also known as The Hall, is in the heart of Quincy Market and is a food lover’s dream. With over 35 counters to access a wide variety of wonderful dining options, Faneuil Hall’s food court can satisfy even the first-time visitor and repeat customer. Here’s a quick rundown of some of my foodies at the beautiful and historic Faneuil Hall food court.
For those unfamiliar, Quincy Market is a large, historic open air market located in Boston, Massachusetts. Surrounded by boutiques and chain stores, carts and souvenir shops, and surrounded by the historic Freedom Trail, it is a tourist “must see” And locals and visitors alike love the historic Faneuil Hall, a place where revolutionary leaders and shakes have held court for two centuries it is sure to ban any Bostonian or starving town.
Pizzeria Regina is probably the first on many tables. This pizza company is a Boston staple and pizza on the go is always a family favorite. I know people passing by all the other restaurants in Faneuil Hall and they go right to this original thin crust every time. He’s usually busy, but he’s also usually nice. Other Italian offerings in the lobby include La Pastaria, Piccolo Panini, Al Mercantino, and the north end of Pistoia. You may also want to note that the north end is very close if you want an extra large sit-down Italian. food
Certainly the best place – some say the only place – to get a good steak and cheese is under (as we call Massachusetts) Philadelphia. But I can personally recommend the steak and cheese available at Faneuil Hall’s Philadelphia Steak and Hoagie. It’s big, fat, and all the cheese a steak in Phillie actually doesn’t expect to be. Other popular sandwich shops in the Faneuil Hall meat market include the Brown Derby Deli.
The Boston tradition is, of course, seafood, whether it’s clam chowder or fish and chips or whatever. I am looking for Personally, I don’t do seafood (which makes me a New Englander, I don’t know…) But Faneuil Hall won’t let you down. You can find tons of snacks here at places like Boston Chowda’s proud accents, Boston & amp; The Maine Fish and Fisherman’s Net Society.
Of course, don’t forget that Boston is a cosmopolitan city and Faneuil Hall has more to offer than your typical Panada Express. Beyond the aforementioned Italian, the Mexican style of Peripatetic El Paso Enchiladas is really good. Asian cuisine from Ming Arbor, Indian at Bombay Club, Greek food at Mykonos Fair, guess the quality of food at Little Brazil. That’s sampling.
Of course, if you’re just in the mood for desert, they’re looking for a cup of coffee or something else. Faneuil Hall has a food court chain stores like Starbucks (of course) and Steve Cream and Columbia Yogurt. But there’s also Carol Ann’s Bake Shop, Boston Chipyard (yes, that would be a cookie…), Boston Pretzel (self-serve) Kilvert & Forbes (baked) and Bistany International (coffee).
Now, if you go through the whole food court and don’t find anything you like – well, maybe there’s something wrong with you. But don’t worry, maybe a good twenty “sit-down” restaurants are also located in Quincy Square, some inside and some outside Faneuil Hall. One place for kids: Slugger’s Dugout. There is a great variety of ice cream and candy shops there, too. You can sit down with your family and rest after a hard rock laying morning. The equipment also includes booths with plausible themes, although the first setting used for the outcry was the Bullfinch Pub and was not located near Faneuil Hall.
Sitting, in fact, is sometimes easier said than done in Quincy Hall, especially at Faneuil Hall in the food hall/lounge. There are lots of tables and benches in the building’s atrium, but it’s such a popular place with locals and tourists that it can get crowded quickly, so when one gets a good deal on your side, you’ll want to miss another. delay in looking for a table or saving seats. There are also benches in Quincy Square, but these too are often crowded with passers-by.
Faneuil Hall has many great attributes, it is a beautiful piece of architecture. It has historical significance. It is the center of the operation. But I admit, the food court is probably my part.
