Four years in a row, I took my kids to the Mall of America for their Santa experience. I was impressed all three times. Theme Street imagines the staff are always incredibly friendly. The photographer will make sure that the children are in flattering positions, helping them adjust their clothes and tend to their needs. They offer incredible packages for parents, including candid photos of everyone. Finally, Santa has been the same gentleman for three years in a row and is great with kids.
I always choose a white photo disc when I print photos. They usually take between twenty and forty pictures of the kids and I have a hard time choosing just one photo. I like that it is convenient that I want to take the disk home and make my own model images.
My children take the time to send Santa a card or note, carefully writing the items they would like to receive on their wish list. My children take great pride in writing and art to share the magic of their birthdays. Santa takes time to read all the lines on these cards and share his photos for him Kids love the response they get from interacting with Santa during these visits.
My youngest son is four and he is always very nervous around Santa. At home he is excited and wanting to verbalize what he would like for Christmas, but once he is in front of Santa, he is very reserved and quiet. Having him write down a list that he can refer back to will help him spend time on his visit with Santa, rather than trying to remember the things he really wanted.
I am always puzzled at how well the organization is run. I am a very organized person and I value my time. On my visits to the Millenia Mall there were often lines for pictures, but the process of the kids visiting Santa and receiving the gift I want always runs smoothly. Many of the children have their parents to interment what is offered. There are even more throughout the line, so you know how long you have to wait. The decorations are beautiful and my children have never been impatient with this power. It is a beautiful warm holiday for children and parents alike.
When you get to the front line, you’re asked whose envelope matters. You are under no obligation to purchase images. Once the photos of the kids on Santa’s lap are taken, you can view them immediately on the screen. They always love watching the kids on Santa’s lap, reviewing their notes and having discussions. I look forward to previewing my photos until they finish their turn. The children received a small token from Santa after their arrival, which gives me time to welcome them closer to me. As long as I can choose which products I want to buy, my world is done and I’ll be on my way.
The process usually takes no more than 15 minutes and is pleasant, unhurried, and provides laughter all around. If you live in the Orlando area, visiting the mall to see Santa Claus put a smile on your face, and your children’s.
