The clouds around the mountain were not seen anywhere else. The hike can be challenging and hiking and climbing is open year-round, but only experienced hikers should climb during the winter months. The most popular destination is Snow Gulch. This climb can take up to eight hours and is a strenuous climb.
If you are not ready for an eight hour hike how about trying some of the lower hiking trails of which there are many.
Mount Shasta always offers great love activities such as skiing, biking, golfing, hiking, hiking and swimming. Beautiful Lake Siskiyou and Castle Lake are both wonderful holes for swimming and eating, fishing, and water skiing.

Skunk Train at Fort Bragg:
