Greensboro, NC Chinese Restaurants

Greensboro, NC has a variety of different Chinese restaurants to choose from. The quality of the Chinese varies depending on which restaurant you want to visit. Here is some small information about a few Chinese restaurants in the Greensboro, NC area.

China Café
Spring Garden St Ste A
Greensboro, NC 27403
(336) 297-4033

China Café in Greensboro has the best Chinese food, without a doubt. I even dare to call it the best Chinese food in North Carolina. Located in a small space in the shopping center, although the café is primarily a delivery/take-out business, there is still seating available. They have a full breakfast buffet where you can get your fill for about $5. My favorite things let’s get the golden chicken and the sesame chicken, both of which are here. the best I have ever had from any Chinese restaurant, and they are very cheap. For lunch, you can have chicken, rice, and an egg for $5.

I used to visit a Chinese cafe with an old roommate quite regularly and order the same thing. It was taken to the point where the staff (who seemed to be only 3 people) took our orders and got to know us. We were able to call and start placing the order and the lady who worked there recognized our email right away. It’s usually bad when a restaurant starts to get to know you, but I settled on a China café. This is absolutely fantastic Chinese food.

Wok and Roll
1637 New Garden Rd
Greensboro, NC
(336) 855-0026

I admit that I was first addicted to Wok and Rollo because of its name. Come on, it sounds like a fun place to go. I went here with a friend, and I have to say…I wasn’t really all that impressed. The food here is good, but not fantastic. Not even the most pleasant service. The name is pretty neat, but I don’t think it’s cool enough to warrant a return trip. It was also quite expensive. I really like the food, but I don’t want to pay the prices they ask.

Dragon Wok Chinese Restaurant
1589 Skeet Club Rd
High Point, NC 27265
(336) 885-8868

Dragon Wok is my favorite place to get Chinese when I’m out and about in the high country. It’s kind of like a deli set up inside and sometimes not the cleanest of places, but it still has a great Chinese feel to it. I usually stop here for lunch when I’m at a high point and in the mood for some Chinese food. From here, everything I’ve ever had is pretty well prepared, and I’ve gotten it right, which is sometimes not the case in Chinese restaurants. This place is great for when you want somewhere to have a simple good meal. They also seem to serve well to children, so they go out for dinner as a family.
