I have a whole collection of greeting cards for every occasion: birthdays, holidays, get well, anniversaries, the list goes on and on. The good thing is that all the greeting cards I bought allowed me to support some wonderful charities. If you have a philanthropic heart like mine, then you might want some greetings that offer great charities.
Puppies behind bars
Puppies Behind Bars is a wonderful charity that uses inmates to raise puppies that are used as service dogs for disabled inmates; as well as an explosive detection canine for law enforcement agencies.
Puppies Post Bars offers a variety of greeting cards on its website. Now that Christmas is just around the corner, they have a great selection of holiday cards, as well as notepads and calendars.
Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation helps families dealing with Cystic Fibrosis in addition to finding a cure for the disease. Direct Cards offers a wide selection of greeting cards, and 20 percent of all website sales go to The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
ASPCA
The ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) is one of my charities. They work to help humane laws and prevent the euthanasia of adoptive dogs. The ASPCA website offers online stores a site where you can purchase items that benefit the ASPCA. Among the many items sold are Sales. As with the pups behind bars, the ASPCA is also offering holiday cards for the upcoming holiday season. box set you can buy holiday movies or dogs or cats. There are sixteen holiday cards in each set, and they sell for $17.99.
Strength Center
Charity is near and dear to my heart, as I have a younger brother who suffered a brain injury. The Mind Center helps individuals with physical disabilities, mental injuries, speech or vision impairment, and hearing impairment. The Heart Center has an online store where they also offer the largest selection of greeting cards. When you buy greetings from the Heart Center, 100 percent of the net profit goes to the Strength Center.
Firm of the Sanctuary
The Sanctuary Fund is another charity that I support because it is a big charity. Farms Sanctuary helps to save and shelter abused animals.
The Sanctuary Farm offers a few cards on their site that you can purchase to help support the Sanctuary Farm’s efforts. You can now purchase two different types of holiday cards on their website. The first set contains sixteen cards and sells for $18, and the second set contains only twenty $20 cards. If you are looking for postcards that can be used at any time of the year, they also offer five postcards of pigs for $1.
