He is a provider who comes

A protector like a royal lion
looking after his cubs,
He is a counselor and a friend
even if you just need a hug.
A Father is to be respected
and honored with esteem.
He’ll be the guy on the sidelines
cheering for your team.
He might not be hip to all
the latest fads,
But its okay, either way.
