Houseplants: Weeping Fig Tree

There are over 800 varieties of plants belonging to the genus Figs or figs. Figs are tropical or sub-tropical plants that are generally grown as plants, with the exception of edible figs (F. carica). Probably the most popular fig for home décor is the weeping fig (F. benjamina). However, I know most people who want to keep this fig tree in their house are disgusted; because of the habit of his leaves. Actually, it is a very simple illusion, having a healthy and happy fig tree.

The weeping fig can grow at least 6 feet tall. (While I had one that grew a little taller, though. I guess they were lucky.) You may think of your fig tree as any other tree, but you can control it. You should also cut off dead or deformed branches.

Place the weeping fig in a large container, which you really don’t want to have later if it can transplant at all. Fill about half of the pot with the fallen leaves. This will help to make the pot lighter, you won’t have to use more than just potting soil, saving you some money. (Also, this is a great way to recycle your old newspapers.) You just need to use good potting soil. . (I use Miracle-Gro.) Keep your weeping fig well moist, but not wet. Always use a water soluble fertilizer once a month or so. Tears give some light but make the light oblique. When you have done all these things, come back to me, that I may know what the leaves are.

The weeping fig’s tendency to drop its leaves is probably the main reason why many people get frustrated with this plant (as mentioned at the beginning of this article) and decide to just throw it away. Weeping figs, although they are always green, can drop their leaves until they are a tender species, the branches of the branches are almost entirely bare. a>- no apparent reason. But there is indeed a reason for the drop of a leaf; and it can be easily corrected. You have placed your fig tree wherever you want in your house, weeping, so that it does not move. Don’t turn it periodically so different parts can receive the light. Do not move your finger outside the wall. Do not pass from one wall to another. Let it be. You see weeping figs easily offended. (This is the reason I told you earlier to plant the weeping fig in a large container so that you don’t have to put it in another pot when it grows. ) If you turn your fig tree over, it will be stunted and its leaves will begin to fall. Place it where you want your weeping fig to be, and never move it again. If for some reason you need to move, understand that the leaves begin to drop, from the need to rake. (This is in jest.) It will be off the snap and will begin to produce new leaves. However, if possible, it should be moved. If you follow this simple plan, you will have a large and absolutely beautiful fig tree – with all the leaves attached.
