A business job is a lot like the holy grail: desired by many, but usually very difficult to achieve. I have been a minister for years. Indeed, for enjoying college. I have been asked hundreds of times by unknown friends and random drunks, “how can one become a minister?” Although I will admit that mercenary is not an easy field to break into, I have written some practical tips to help you do well in your way to drop potions and earn tips.
Just to consult you if Bartending
A commencing job can be very lucrative, but it’s not for everyone. It is very easy for people to look at fantastic memories and great charisma, but in reality it is anything but simple. You can enjoy going to the bar every weekend and hanging out with friends, but before you make this kind of job choice, you need to understand something – the idea behind the bar is very different.
The drugs were set up behind the bar. This is simply a statistic. Do you want to indulge in well-served drugs? No way! (Indeed, it will seriously harm you if you get caught up in that lifestyle.) But you should be aware of the environment in which you spend almost half of your waking hours.
Women especially need to ask themselves: Am I ready to put everything out there and be hit by drunks at night? Because what you do, ladies, is what you do. Drunk men (and some women) are cheap, and if they are offended by vulgar language and aggressive or are easily intimidated, the scene it is not for you. If you are offended when you are out and about, you can simply leave. When we work, you can’t always do that. (And the bouncer doesn’t always come around to help you.)
The early bird does not apply. The service requires that you stay up all night during the hours. Then, when all is said and done, and everyone has gone home, we must begin to clean up the place.
This is not meant to scare you and make you think that scene is horrible – on the contrary, I enjoyed my time behind the bar – but I saw many waiters fall by the side of the road and collapse – hard. This is not a job that just anyone can handle.
Repay your dues
Don’t think that you can simply skip work and go to rolling money, because that’s not how it works.
In most restaurants and bars, the job of a bartender is the most coveted position and requires the most trust from the manager, since bartenders usually handle both cash and liquor. But that trust and respect must be earned. Never forget that you are not first in line for a job.
Don’t waste your money on “Bartending Schools”
They are a waste of schools. I said there. I went to a cocktail party with two of my friends and they were attending business school. I spent hundreds of dollars learning a few meaty skills while I got to learn the ropes and gain the respect of my boss and co-workers.
A few months later, he was offered the job of assistant behind the bar and later became a minister. Meanwhile, my friends were each launching their own programs and were being offered great jobs – one as a soccer player and one lucky guy as a bar-back. In the end they all ended up in the same job, but I was able to make it several months faster and about $500$ richer.
The fastest way to become a server is to make friends with current wineries and internet managers/owners and prepare to work your way up.
