How to Claim Unclaimed Money from the Government

I really can’t speak for anyone else. I myself have heard it for years. about busy money programs of the government. I felt that these programs are like Bigfoot, you have heard about it, but doubt it exists until you try it yourself in unclaimed money programs exist. .I lost money owed to me and collected. (How sorry about Bigfoot. I haven’t seen one).

How did I find out the money owed to me? Well the day I joined AC I was reading through various articles to get a feel for the AC site and happened to read one by fellow CP Tori titled “The Real Estate Owes You Money! How To Find & Collect”. So I visited the site mentioned in the article MissingMoney.com and this is my story of how I found the unknown money that I owed and I knew better that I owed it.

Missingmoney.com as it happens has many initiatives to help people with lost money. These include the return of payments of money in the form of insurance policies. Deposits etc. They also include undisclosed amounts of money owed to deceased relatives. This may include deposit insurance etc.
When I was looking for a place, I was looking for funds that were seized under my name and the figure that my mother was dead because I moved around a lot and that there were just some things about my mother that I didn’t know since her death. As it turned out, in both searches I found nothing for myself. But my mother had an unknown amount of money. So I filled in the necessary information on the missing money online request template, printed it out and mailed it. Just curious as to what kind of information would come.

After a 2 week delay I received mail from the NJ Treasurer with 2 letters. The first was a letter signing that I owe state income tax paid $20.75 by him to the wrong address of the year it was filed. so he never got it. the other letter stating that my mother owes some expenses insurance benefits the whole principle being $1769 as well as the information in the papers that I needed send to ask for money Well, the main thing I remember from the article was how often the government keeps the money they invest in an interest bearing account. We figured we’d find some more. Before I rejoice over this unexpected but very pleasant event. So I found a list of questions for the contact person listed in our letter as follows:

1. the amount of my undisclosed public tax was $4.37.making my total 25.12 my mother’s occupied benefits total interest of $780, which made a total of over $2400

2. The state of NJ had been withholding benefit money since the mother passed away in 1996 in 1991.

3. Since my mother has no will, fill out the paperwork and be called for the next of kin document and submit the document to an unknown state with copies of my ID and Social Security card. my mother’s death certificate and my birth certificate. And this he caused to be done, showing that I was both heir in my own right and fit to receive the money. So with all the necessary paperwork in advance, I received a government check for $2,500. in another 2 weeks. So it was definitely worth the effort.

Here are a few suggestions on how to find and claim your lost money.

1. Make sure I keep a record of all my old addresses, especially if you’ve lived in more than one state. since most likely you will see only last name and initial even if you had several addresses in one state, you really dont have to file multiple avenges for that state When you send in the social-security-disability-benefits”>social security number they will use to check if someone other states mean that if you live in NJ and have more than one address in that state, simply check under your social security and find out what other claims you may have for NJ. You will only have more than one right if you live in more than one state.

2. When mailing in the initial claim form from Missingmoney.com do not send copies of anything you are just basically still in the process of finding the mission. Where you generally learn what is required and exactly what the government is asking of you is what it is asking of you.

3. Don’t be afraid to ask. as a claimant that you have the right to know. which how long it had a republic. which paid great attention. and especially if it is a question of a deceased relative, what are the accepted substitute documents, if for any reason you don’t have or are not able to come with any documents, which we have also written, where you can have them and refer to the appropriate ones. agency

4. To the thoughts that a. Will this money make you rich? It’s not likely to work though the extra $2400 or so with that has elevated me to cash status but then again it’s an unknown amount of money never known. In other words, I hope you like to be surprised. also, for all intents and purposes you will not have this money free in paying income tax. . One of the things that was said in my letter was that an unknown property was sending letters to the IRS and the NJ state treasurer about calim, so I should report this to my state and federal income tax for 2007. One of the reasons they started is that, as long as they had the money seized in their possession, they can reach it for both the state and the state. federal laws Therefore, the money can be returned to the owners or the heirs of the owners, so that they can at least tax the reasons why the businesses report and the unknown/lost money is a gift to the state, so that they can save these businesses from state and federal law or otherwise. simply these funds as part of their earnings these are just items to remember.

Now the disclaimer is out of the way of finding those unknown funds that you will never know about and be sure to read Tori’s article here
