Tell me a little about yourself.
“I have a Masters in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chaminade University of Honolulu in Honolulu, Hawaii. Since my graduation from Chaminade, I have been providing counseling to various non-profit organizations. I am currently working in private practice. I am a nationally certified counselor and licensed as a clinical mental health practitioner. both in Texas and in Hawaii -children”>children under the age of 9 and adults. In my work, although I would call myself an eclectic therapist, I am more in SOLUTION Focused orientation, which is short term , and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which I believe has a lasting, life-changing impact.
What impact can mild depression have on someone’s life?
“Mild depression is depression that has gone beyond the ‘regular’ type of depression. Mild depression can create a negative impact on one’s personal, social, and/or work life. They want to do regular activities such as eating and working. You can also sleep too much and feel tired or fall asleep and wake up from sleep.
What are some tips on top of mild depression?
“This may sound cliché, but I always tell my clients to go outside their homes and socialize. I understand that this is the most difficult thing to do when you are not motivated to do something or in a more passionate mood, but to be and be yourself. stay at home, just make yourself feel worse Increased activity will cause your brain to release a chemical called endorphin a great way to reduce feeling depressed, because when “If you talk to someone, you’re more than likely to find help to cope.”
What types of professional help is available to someone who is having a difficult time coping with mild depression?
“Counseling would be beneficial for those who have a difficult time coping with mild depression. Most of the time counseling will offer new, challenging and new perspectives on life. It will provide you with new tools and problem solving skills, or even want management skills that you have neglected or never thought about why the project is useful and will be useful to everyone who wants new directions or they must control the changes in their lives. Of course, if you can understand and understand the benefits of counseling, if you put good effort into applying coping skills and strategies from your taught and discussed by a counselor or clinician.
