Google Maps is the first and the foremost choice of every traveler around the world when planning for a vacation. Without Google Maps, it would have been impossible to plan for your vacation just a day before. With Google Maps, you can take note of all the attracted spots that can be visited, plan the shortest route, or even look for a business nearby. You can do almost everything you need to do to travel using Google Maps.
Earlier, the Google Map service was available online, but now the application has come to your mobile phone. You can now use Google Maps on your Symbian S60 series 3rd edition mobile phones. To use the application, you just need an internet connection, and after you install the application you can start using it immediately.
Installation
To download the Google Maps application, open a web browser on your Symbian based mobile phone and enter the following url: www.google.com. Alternatively, you can go to www.google.com and choose your mobile phone to download the application. You can also use the Send me Link option to send the download link directly to your mobile phone.
After the file has been downloaded using the web browser on your Symbian based phone, the installation will begin automatically. Within 2 clicks, the icon will appear in your programs list.
How it Works
When the application is first started, you will be asked to accept a Disclaimer after which you can start using the application. With Google Maps, you can have a satellite view of any area. To search for a location, click on the Search button on the right corner of the application, enter the details and Google Maps will search the location for you. You can also plan your route using Google Maps. To track a route, enter the start and end address and Google Maps will prepare a shortest route.

Conclusion
I will rate it 5 out of 5. There is no weakness in this application or a new feature that I would like to add, since, it already contains all the features that traveler needs. Google Maps is a MUST-HAVE application for Symbian phones.
