How to Get the Smell of Dog or Cat Urine Out of Carpets

Removing the smell of dog or cat urine in the peristroma is difficult to say the least, but it can be done. Most people don’t know there is urine on the carpet until we notice the smell. Over time we found that, the urine is mostly absorbed, which is even more difficult to remove, especially if cat. urine

The method worked very well for me. One of my cats dyed my carpet in the living room one day. I do not know what. I was sitting at my desk and I heard a slight splashing sound. I turned low, and behold, there was urine in the corner, on the carpet. I immediately went to work and completely stripped the scent.

If you catch it soon, soak it up immediately with a clean cleaning towel or paper towels. cleaned the area with a good carpet. Once it dries, dust it with cornstarch on the floor with a broom or cleaning brush, and allow ten to fifteen minutes to absorb the smell then vacuum.

Cornstarch will eliminate most odors dog urine, but you will have to treat the area to remove the cat. when there is urine, it is so much more intense. Repeating the process is recommended because part of the cornstarch that absorbed the odor is still in the carpet.

So with a good repetition of cleaning it should remove the residue and get rid of the smell. But if this fails, you have another option. You can permanently remove the smell by cutting and replacing.

My two cats shared the same litter that I kept in the laundry room. I don’t know how he wraps that towel, the less he uses it. Later in the morning, I saw the towel, and of course I removed it, and I didn’t know how long it had been there. In the evening I passed the living room when I caught the stench of urine. I knew what had happened. One or the other cat was digging in the live.

Looking for a trace, I found only one spot and realized that I had to wipe it with paper-towels until the area was as dry as I could get it. I clean and dry clothes. He still smelled this. I used cornstarch and when it dried, I was empty. He still smelled this. The next day I repeated the process. He still smelled this.

I didn’t know what to do. I simply could not replace the carpet. Then I remembered reading something in the Bible la where Jesus told us to take our burdens to God (“You take care.”) So, taking the problem to the Lord, asking for direction, was the best thing to do at that point. But I was looking for direction on how I could replace the entire carpet, which was what I was looking at, because it seemed hopeless to repair.

Later, when I was putting away the laundry, I noticed the carpet in my closet and got an idea. It was figured that if the carpet was destroyed, it would not be so good, and at least the smell would be absent.

Using a box razor knife, I cut off a piece, took it to my room and cut a piece out of my clothes as I walked into the closet. You can always take a piece of carpet in place and it usually matches. But there was only so much material in the closet, and I knew that part was not marked, and he took part from there.

I pulled at the fibers around the carpet, until the hook was a little bit, then I applied a few crazy drops of glue at the bottom, and around the edges I threw the hook into the place where it had been cut out. If you apply the glue to the twisted part, it will blend in with the rest of the carpet. I didn’t know exactly where the old one was so it blended perfectly and the smell came out. Do I leave inspired?

If you experience this problem, you may be able to split and patch the piece. If you don’t have spare carpet to patch with it, take a piece of carpet that you cut out to the place and if they don’t have it, they can order it. It’s a lot cheaper than replacing carpet and a whole lot better than living with the stink.
